June Dump 🥲❤️

Thank you for the lessons, the laughter, the love, and even the moments that challenged me. This month taught me that the right connections will always find their way, promises are meant to be kept, and real growth comes from taking accountability for your actions, owning your mistakes, and choosing to do better.

It also taught me that sometimes the best way to protect your peace is to lower your expectations of other people’s actions. Not because you expect the worst, but because you can’t control what others choose to do—you can only control how you respond. Protecting your heart isn’t giving up; it’s making room for peace.

June was full of emotions, healing, uncomfortable conversations, and beautiful memories that I’ll carry with me. It reminded me that honesty, vulnerability, accountability, and grace are all acts of love.

A heartfelt thank you to every single person who came out to support my performance at Don’t Tell Mama. Seeing your faces in that room meant more than I can put into words. Your love, encouragement, and applause reminded me why I continue to chase this dream. Thank you for believing in me, showing up for me, and celebrating such a special milestone. This wasn’t my first but my second sold out show at this venue!!!!!

Here’s to stepping into July with a grateful heart, a clearer mind, and the courage to keep growing. To the connections that are meant to be, the promises that are never meant to be broken, to taking accountability for our actions, and to protecting our peace without losing our capacity to love.

Between moving, singing all around the city at open mics, and participating in a developmental reading of a new musical, life has had my emotions on 1000%. But somewhere in the middle of all of it, I found time to put together a solo show.

These small gatherings mean so much to me because they’re intimate, personal, and remind me of the little kid in me who always found joy in what he knew best: music.

A local rapper once reminded( I can say he definitely slapped me into reality) me that I have a gift to share with the world — to never let anyone disturb my peace or push me away from my dreams. I’ve carried those words with me ever since.

So come join me at Don’t Tell Mama for a night of music, stories, and a few surprises. All the info is above.

Only 3 rules:
1. Bring cash (cash only, y’all 😭)
2. Reserve your seat ahead of time — seats are NOT guaranteed at the door
3. Sing along, because y’all already know I’m finna hoot and holler
