@diaana.ramirezz and I took the bus to the MLK Joint Service day at @meharrymedicalcollege. We didn’t get to go out to a community volunteer site, but they did have a community art project available to do! The art question was “what does MLK day mean to me.” Who knew hanging with @belmontu students could be so fun! It was nice to meet you guys @olivejuice28 @rohan_nags! taken in Meharry Medical College by @justcasuallykatie

A couple days ago I found a lemon blueberry bread recipe and proceeded to over-bake it. And I made some glaze, but used corn starch instead of powdered sugar. Sooo this morning I made a non-dairy lemon posset with the corn starch and French toast with the bread. I candied some lemon pulp and made croutons out of the bread-end to finish the plate. by @justcasuallykatie

It’s been a minute since I did a cooking video. Now featuring shaky cam. 😂 Seriously though my glitchy camera doesn’t help my cinematography any. I got hungry while baking some lemon-blueberry bread and made a snack. A smashed sweet potato 🍠 with toppings! I just ate it off the cookie sheet. by @justcasuallykatie

Ahhh! I missed my baking video last week! But I did make something. ☺️ These gluten free pumpkin muffins were made using the pumpkin bread recipe from @laneandgreyfare! I added a little pumpkin pie spice because that’s what my childhood recipe used. Grabbing a muffin on my way out the door this past week was a happy. The recipe was vegan right up until I added the frosting (no eggs!), but if you use vegan cream cheese you’re golden! #glutenfreevegan #glutenfreebaking #weekendbaking by @justcasuallykatie

Weekend Baking! Gluten free chocolate mug cake from @chocolatecoveredkatie! I made a chocolate glaze and topped with whipped cream! Her recipe is vegan, but my whipped cream and glaze was not. She has plenty of vegan frosting ideas her blog post though. #glutenfreedessert #glutenfreelife #veganandglutenfree by @justcasuallykatie

Just a Gluten-free pumpkin cupcake muffin. If it has frosting it’s a cupcake…right? Once again my weekend baking is inspired by @laneandgreyfare I took her lovely pumpkin bread recipe and stuck it in a muffin wrapper. 😅 by @justcasuallykatie
