This one is so important. I know the world is heavy right now and our option isn’t anywhere near perfect but this is a strategy to put this ugly divisive era behind us and keep fighting for a better world, a brighter future and a healthier planet. There is so much at stake and so much to lose. Don’t sit this one out please, especially if you love or care about a woman/girl in your life or an LGBTQ+ person. LETS DO THIS. One year of being your wife 🤍 everyday I wake up and can’t believe I scored a man who can fix pretty much anything, cry during queer eye episodes with me, is an incredible chef, goes to shania twain concerts with me and out dances me, grows a garden to sustain a small village, keeps 200 house plants alive and thriving, runs a successful restaurant all while loving me and making our little family and household go round. I’m so lucky and I can’t wait to keep doing this sweet little life with you. I’ll put up with you blaring Phish and Grateful Dead every day in the house for this kind of love. My heart is shattered into smithereens to have to be writing another one of these posts in less than a year. This week we lost another one of our beloved cats too young and traumatically (we think she ate a poisoned mouse but will never know for sure). Kat(niss) was our little weirdo that squeaked instead of meowed, loved walks, and wanted affection but had her own weird way of going about asking for it. She was only 8 with so much life and walks and head pats left. Having cats in the country and letting them roam free is something that has brought us and them pure joy but it comes with risks and dangers that are sometimes out of our control. They love this life and we are trying to find peace in the fact that they have had a dream cat life out here chasing mice and roaming the land and coming back to sleep in a cozy home whenever they please. We know the only way to avoid these scenarios is to keep them inside but if you live in the country, you know how difficult that is to do. We love them deeply and are so heartbroken to go through this again. I’m sorry we couldn’t protect you from this, Kat 💔 we love and miss you and hope you and Louie are out there walking with us in spirit until we meet again on the dirt road somewhere on the other side 🕊️ RIP baby girl
