Fatherhood. This why I been MIA on content.

Watching him grow, learn, struggle, and build confidence has been amazing. As his coach, I help guide him—but I know I’m only one piece of it. His mother @evaalyn.__ plays just as big a role in the person he’s becoming, and I’m grateful for everything she pours into him when I’m not there.

It’s bittersweet watching him grow. I’m proud of who he’s becoming, but part of me misses the little boy he was.

Proud of my three.

Yesterday didn’t give us all victory—but it gave us truth. You stepped in, you fought with heart, and you proved something that no scorecard can measure.

This is why I do it. For the kids who show up anyway.

The last picture? That’s the younger version of me. Quiet. Overlooked. Still learning how to stand in the fire.

I’ll always root for the ones who aren’t loud about it…
The ones who don’t get picked first…
The ones who carry a calm face but a relentless will.

Because those are the ones who endure.
Those are the ones who don’t quit when it gets hard.

And in the long run—those are the ones who become something real. by @justcoachalan

My eyes see everything, even when I stay quiet. I don’t speak on everything—but I see it. The effort, the lack of it, the discipline, the shortcuts. Don’t ever train like you’re being watched… train like it’s who you are. Because even when you think I’m not looking, I am. And more importantly, you are.

A real coach doesn’t just correct what’s loud—they notice what’s silent. The small habits, the details, the choices you make when nobody’s clapping. That’s what builds you.
