Upon hiking Chisel peak for the 2nd time, I really began to wonder why I wanted to hike Chisel peak a 2nd time. But it's probably one of my favorites, it's a beast looking over our town at 2697m. It has it all, just one hour away on a fun off-road type drive, 3km grind from the car to the trail head to get your legs warmed up before reaching the single track forest trail. Pretty steep through the forest until you get above the tree-line and begin the rocky ridge climb. After some technical features you arrive to the south tower, the ridgeline walk to the north tower is not for the faint hearted! We ventured further on this hike and went down that side to the next mountain over, which I believe to be unnamed, we came to a point where we could go no further and returned back up Chisel to tackle the ridgeline again and descent. Bringing a total elevation gain from what would be 1407 to 2450m 💪 by @justcraigstuff

I came round a corner on this fello hiker, we both locked eyes and shit ourselves for a second before we realised neither of us were grizzlies and then casually walked on our way, first time I've ever had my hand on my bear spray and a good reminder to make more noise when hiking alone! taken in Brohm Ridge by @justcraigstuff
