Tag someone you think needs to listen to this audio 🫶🏽..

Just a big fan of Eric. Lol He isn’t a sound engineer, but there’s so much to learn from him, no matter what field you’re in or what phase of life you’re currently navigating. One thing I admire is how he always encourages young people while keeping God at the center of everything.

I came across this audio few weeks ago while scrolling through his TikTok page, and this, among many of the audios on his page, has been stuck in my head ever since. I did a little editing and added this instrumental because I’d been listening to this particular song all day, I’m sure some of you will recognize the song.

I just thought I’d share it because, just as it blessed me, I believe it can bless someone else too.
So, this is just my lens.

Well this day is one for the books, i loved every bit of it, mixing for LDM @ldmwithpk . not just the mix but also partaking and learning a whole lot about Love, Dating & Marriage, super amazing can't wait for the next event..

Definitely a good time🫠 with this particular Electric drums 🤭 I’m also a drummer so yeah 😅
Well, i had the privilege of spending the day with my brothers @loic.ish and @ian_nziza___ , yho the hospitality was top notch 🔥such amazing guysss!! and i was meeting them for the first time..

so yeah, i ensured both the Room and everyone watching the Stream had a good experience…😌, did alot of changes from their previous setup and we had a good time sharing ideas and asking questions and giving answers which i also loved, although we didn’t have proper sound check 😢..so the first part of the mix had to take the fall
Well well the videos here shows the room and livestream sound, had to screen record directly from the YouTube page cause i noticed my IRIG was faulty and i didn’t have a good usb stick with me 😢….

Used Matrix to feed the livestream..
Dialed in my room and tuned it a little bit close to good😅 lol there’s always room for improvements 😌..
FOH➡️ Matrix Livestream➡️ Streaming audio interface➡️ streaming laptop

Another funny thing i did was to change my approach to my subs, i used to be an aux feed sub kinda guy, but decided to try matrix🥹 cause I’ve been having alot of questions from my sound friends i coach and i decided to check smth out… and it was really good for this particular setup cause the e-drums had individual outputs…. But if i was using an electric drum and sending LR only, my best approach is aux feed subs.. why? Hmu let’s discuss..

One of the craziest questions I get asked is, “Can you make everyone happy?” 🤔
Nah… this is audio, not therapy. 😄🎧
Live sound isn’t magic, it’s physics. ⚡📐
Every MD or someone that feels we just pushing buttons or even musicians wants buttons pushed without knowing what it might cause. 🎛️😅
Push the wrong one and the whole mix pays for it. 🚨🔉
Gain structure, balance, clarity, timing… everything affects everything. 🎚️⚖️🎶
But I’ll always do my best. 💪

Golden tones, soft vocals, and a room full of worship,

Clean mix, warm vocals, tight band, Sunday well served😉.
