Pearls, a balloon dress, and adidas—concert night styled my way! 🤍✨

Stepped out for the Lalah Hathaway concert at Knight Theater here in Charlotte, and this look was perfect for the evening. Dressy enough for a night on the town, comfortable enough to enjoy every moment!

My cream balloon dress was a Fashion Nova find for around $12 last year. I paired it with an Adidas blazer from Poshmark—new with tags for $99—and layered pearls in different shapes and sizes collected from consignment shops.

Then came the finishing touches: my longtime favorite Free People hat, SHEIN earrings under $4, a little Chloé bag, and Adidas sneakers I picked up on sale in Madrid for $89. Those shoes have quickly become one of my favorites! 👟✨

This is why I love high-low fashion: mixing bargain finds, luxury touches, and pieces I’ve treasured for years to create something all my own. A little elegance, a little sport, and always going against the grain.

Another new-with-tags Poshmark find for $25! 💛

The cutouts sold me on this Adidas top, but the snap-in tank makes it even better. I can wear both pieces together, wear the tank on its own, or style the long-sleeve layer over something else. My top is a medium, and I’ve seen other Poshmark sellers listing it if you’re looking for one.

I paired it with size large Adidas tights, black-and-cream sneakers, my black Adidas hat with three stripes on the back, and an Adidas hip pouch I bought a few months ago.

The tights come in black and cream or burgundy and cream on Adidas.com, along with coordinating jackets, bras, and shorts. Check out Poshmark for those NWT deals, too! 😉

I paired this sleeveless adidas hoodie bodysuit from Amazon.com with a black blazer and a pair of distressed Adidas wide-leg pants. I finished the look with black-and-white Nike Air Jordan high-tops, SHEIN earrings, my favorite Crazy Heifer hat, and a Gucci crossbody purchased from the Gucci store at SouthPark Mall here in Charlotte.

The red flower lapel, plaid shirt tied around my waist, and bold red lip added just the right pop of color.

I love going against the grain. I’m not inspired to look or dress like anyone else—I’m inspired to be unapologetically me: different, confident, and free.
