It has been 19 days since I have had access to fresh running water in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink. Due to NYCHA’s failure to provide me with a temporary sink, I have been forced to compromise on proper food handling, including washing meat, poultry, and rice in a lead and molded environment. Today, I took my dishes and rice to the management office and requested use of the staff kitchen, as I am confident that their facilities meet the same standards of food preparation that I am entitled to. The absence of running sink water renders my dwelling uninhabitable and I am no longer allowing this practice to continue. by @justdavid_g

**811 Days Sober. 458 Days Without Hot Water.**Out of 811 days in recovery, 458 were without adequate housing conditions. This is what persistence looks like.
