POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some of the best memories aren't planned — they just happen. Two bikes, one lake, and a whole lot of good energy.

On this day it was Elias and me circling the lake on our bikes. Put 'Optimistic' on in the background and it just fit — a reminder that no matter what's going on in the world, you can always choose where you put your energy. Today, it went straight into this moment with my son.

Elias led the way for most of it, and I couldn't help but think about how fast these moments go by — and how easy it is to miss them if you're not paying attention. 'Be Optimistic' has been on repeat in my head ever since — feels like the perfect anthem for a day that reminded me that joy is usually simpler than we make it out to be.

*No Sponsorship Required*

Good afternoon Instagram,

It is that time of year again.... I am excited to announce that I am headed to @nsbeconvention 2026 next week!

Being with @nsbe for over 20+ years, I look forwarded to connect with fellow engineers, industry leaders, and innovators. Events like these are a great reminder of the power of community and the importance of pushing the boundaries of technical excellence.

As a ISC2 CISSP-certified IT consultant and business owner, I spend my days bridging the gap between complex technical challenges and scalable business solutions. If your organization is looking for technical leadership or specialized expertise, here is a snapshot of the roles I have stepped into:

Core Capabilities & Roles:

⛅ Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect ☁️: Leading cloud modernization efforts and migrations of enterprise-grade solutions across @amazonwebservices , @microsoftazure , and @googlecloud

🪪 Cybersecurity & Risk Management 🔒 : Leveraging my CISSP to embed security-first principles into every layer of an organization's IT infrastructure and compliance strategy.

🛜 Systems & Network Engineer 👨‍💻: Deploying and managing high-density network environments (like a recent 144-drop @ubiquiti deployment) and robust virtualization/storage clusters (VMware, Proxmox, TrueNAS Scale).

📀 IT Strategy Consultant 💾: Leading end-to-end infrastructure deployments, hardware lifecycle management, and operational scaling for businesses.

Who I Am Beyond the Resume:

I am a problem-solver, lifelong learner, and a trekkie🛸. Whether I am architecting a hybrid cloud environment for a client, fine-tuning a ZFS RAID configuration in my homelab, or flying a drone to capture the perfect shot (@dji Mini 5 Pro), I am driven by curiosity of where technology can bring us and how it can benefit growth, both personally and professionally.

As a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., the principle of "Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor" is the standard I apply to my work, my business, and my community every single day.

Let's connect!

New cert in the bag!

First attempts only.... We are 9 for 9 around here!

Officially passed the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900). For anyone serious about cloud infrastructure, this certification feels like table stakes, but it's an essential entry point to a much larger Azure ecosystem. It's a great milestone to solidify the basics and for me to branch off in a new direction.

Enough talk, it's "On to the next one"

For over 5 years, I have had @afro.tech in my sights as a conference I would like to experience. This year, I said, "It's time!"... I will be attending AFROTECH" Conference 2025!! Join me on October 27 in Houston, TX.

I'm incredibly excited and ready to soak it all in! From what I have heard, the energy there is electric, and it's inspiring to be surrounded by so many brilliant professionals, founders, and innovators in the tech space making that week all about the "Moments That Matter"

A huge thank you to the sponsors who make this invaluable event possible. It's powerful to see major companies like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), JPMorganChase, and The Walt Disney Company investing in their industries and championing the future.

Whether you're focused on using the cloud as an enabler, designing a Zero Trust architecture, or navigating the complexities of reengineering IT, l'd love to connect and exchange ideas.

Please feel free to send me a message. #Tech #Networking #Innovation #TechConference #AfroTech #AfroTech2025 by @justdgoodz

Tired of scrubbing dirty grout lines for hours? 🤢
Have you ever tried steam cleaning your floors?

Is there anything more satisfying than this? ✨

Watching grime melt away from grout lines with just a steamer.

No harsh chemicals needed!

The man is the central focus of the image. He is smiling warmly at the camera with a confident and relaxed expression. He has well-kept, long dreadlocks and a neatly groomed beard. He is dressed sharply in a dark charcoal with a deep red/maroon collared shirt underneath. His attire is accented with a gold necklace and Kappa Alpha Psi K Diamond pendant, a small diamond encrusted lion pin on his lapel, and a Gold Titanium Apple Watch series 10 on his left wrist. He is wearing stylish brown leather dress shoes. His pose is casual yet sophisticated, with one foot in a plantar flexion position as he leans slightly against a railing.

My son is following in my footsteps, though his artistic vision is a bit... unconventional. So far, he's specializing in close-ups of peoples nose and blurry shots of his own forehead.

We'll get him an agent when he figures out how to keep the lens cap off....

Pretty sure I blinked and my son turned into a tiny negotiator who demands snacks and the order of what activities we will do first.

How is he 4 already?! I swear he was just learning to roll over yesterday... or was that 4 years ago? Send help (and That's It Bars).

This also means he's four times louder, four times as ambitious, and four times more likely to tell me 'no daddy.'

But also, four times more handsome..

Happy birthday sir!!!
