Chelsea and Westminster NHSFT referred me to the NMC (my 3rd time) and to Prevent for advocating for Palestine and criticising Zionism, a colonial political ideology which is so indefensible that its only recourse is to target those who speak out against it.

My former employer, Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, referred me to the NMC and to Prevent a year after I stopped working for them, in response to a letter they recieved from UK Lawyers for Israel.

I had undergone two previous NMC referrals and the stress this has all culminated in, because I spoke out for Palestine and criticised Zionism, is undeniably atrocious. I had an unusual evening tonight where I ate dinner with human rights lawyers, charity workers and parliamentarians. I had many thoughts during it all, how fortunate I was of the opportunity, how Palestinians still struggle to eat enough food, how UKLFI have not just targeted me but charities too (such as MSF), how I held a responsibility to represent healthcare workers who have been targeted, and how MPs are nothing without those who vote for them.

I wanted to uphold my duty and spoke to as many as I could about my story.

Legal Action Update! chelwestft tried to avoid accountability for referring me to Prevent a year after I left them following a complaint by UKLFI.

The Judge ruled that my case can proceed!

Brewing with anger for the past few days. I have more thoughts but these were my most salient ones triggered by the "Free P*ssy" message on that infamous group chat.

I'm utterly sickened to learn of the 7 men who gang raped a woman at Cornell University, who have been punished with writing an essay. The older I get the more I realise "normal" every day men, who work hard and stick to the rules, enable violence against women and girls by not holding to masculine ideals of valour and honour, when they hear, witness and learn of their mates they're colleagues or even just strangers committing that violence.

Patriarchy is a system, and its high time men risk something for the safety of women and girls. Its time boys are raised to abide by values of strength and integrity, and not the approval of other men. by @justfatimah

I can't wrap my head around a place of worship on top of a place of torture, that has now been converted into a gift shop.

I don't think I would have felt comfortable worshipping in such a place. by @justfatimah
