🏀Spring/Summer 2026 Recap🏀

With last weeks final championship game being played, we are officially done with the spring/summer 2026 season!

Was definitely a long one! But as the season progressed we saw teams get their stride, catch momentum and ultimately figure out their chemistry.

Want to give a shoutout to the teams from each division that won!

D3 Chip team 🏆 : Bullets
Finals MVP: Goldy

Bullets did not have an easy road to the chip, and usually would end up kicking themselves in the foot more than the opposing team. But they ended up grinding out win after win and just played harder the the other team.

D4 Chip Team 🏆: Primetime
Finals MVP: Rahul

Primetimes regular season and playoff series were night and day. The #1 seed only lost one game all season, and honestly had won their games pretty handily.

Playoffs were a different story. BACK TO BACK overtime games, with the finals game being one where they pulled out a miraculous comeback to end up winning it all, just shows this team has what it takes to win now matter what the situation is.

D5 Chip Team 🏆: lifetime allstars
Finals MVP: Sy

Lifetime Allstars were the #1 seed heading into playoffs. Being one of the older (if not the oldest teams), they relied on their experience and chemistry to beat their opponents. The chip game was no easy feat, but veterans like Sy, Pervez and Sult showed up when it mattered the most.

🏀 PLAYS OF THE GAME 🏀

Last week we got 4 incredible highlight plays of the night.

1. We got Mamba Muneeb from swish kebabs showing us his dribble game with a smooth hesi head fake to catch one defender into a tough middy contested pull up 🤒
2. The second play we got Ricky from Broadway hoops with an amazing dime to his teammate in transition 😮‍💨
3. Third play we got the same game, same team, diff player. We got Rayan from Broadway meeting the offensive player AT THE RIM. Rayan channeled his inner Mutombo with that swat 🖐️
4. Last but not least, we have Jithin from Naan Stop Buckets with the GAME WINNER OFF THE INBOUND 😡

Couldn’t ask for a better night of hoops 🏀

🎤 POST GAME INTERVIEW 🎤

Last week was an intense for Just Hoops as we had some crazy playoff games and insane overtime thriller for the chip game.
🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
For interviews we have Sult from lifetime allstars with a 25pt, 12 assist performance as they head to the chip.
🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
Then we have the entire bullets team lead by captain Ali. The bullets pulled off a miraculous comeback with a clutch steal and bucket by Goldy.

Let’s show our players some love!!!

🏀 KEY PLAYOFF MOMENTS 🏀

Still recovering from last nights crazy games.

But had to share some intense moments for the #JUSTHOOP family.

The theme from last nights games were all INBOUND moments.

First clip, we have our d3 quarter final game of showtime vs bullets.

Showtime is up and attempts a long range throw in that ends up getting STOLEN by the Bullets.

This leads to Goldy from the Bullets making an amazingly difficult bucket which becomes to the game winning play 😤

The next 2 clips are from our thrilling overtime chip game between Primetime and Fry city 😮‍💨. Fry city is up 6 with very little time left

Rahul from primetime comes down and hits a clutch 3 to cut the gap to 3.

The VERY NEXT play, primetime force a turnover, move the ball and Enrique from primetime hits the GAME TYING 3

A 6 point swing in under 10 SECONDS 🤯🤯🤯

Couldn’t ask for a better night of hoops 🏀
