Late but great, God has been good to me ☦

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
[9] Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. [10] For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. by @justiceda232

Ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ Ⲁⲛⲉⲥⲧⲏ ☦

O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? Christ is risen and life is freed! Christ is risen and the tomb is emptied of the dead! For Christ, being risen from the dead, has become the Leader and Reviver of those who had fallen asleep.
To Him be glory and power for ever and ever. Amen

Therefore the holy lent is for the Father and is not a punishment or guilt. It is not to subdue the soul, to deprive it, or suppress it and so forth… of those negative meanings. The fasting is the love of the Father, who loved us and sacrificed His only begotten Son for us. The fasting is a partnership for our love for Jesus, who fasted for us for forty days and forty nights. The fasting is the selection of the leadership of the Holy Spirit to guide our lives in Jesus. Similarly Jesus was lead with the Spirit in the wilderness of the holy fast. by @justiceda232

What good is an ancient faith if you have nobody to share it with? Blessed beyond measure to be amongst the monks who preserve the faith and the laity who will carry the torch in the world. May the prayers of St. Mary and St.Moses be with us all 🙏🏿☦❤ taken in St Mary St Moses Abbey by @justiceda232

Blessed to be able to experience ancient and unchanged Christianity every week. The Indian Orthodox culture and liturgical tradition is beautiful. May the prayers of St. Thomas be with us all ☦🙏🏿 taken in North Plainfield, New Jersey by @justiceda232
