Is your salary disappearing before the month does? 💸

Fuel, electricity, groceries, school fees… it can feel like your money is gone before you’ve even had a chance to breathe. 😅 We’re putting the South African family budget under the microscope with certified financial planner Justin Els, unpacking how to build a realistic household budget, and what “enough” actually looks like. @tvcwealth #ExpressoShow by @justin.els

I recently had the privilege of witnessing my brother @johnny.els1996 get his Purple Belt.
Johnny got me into JiuJitsu back in 2020.
We were still living together at that time and fell in love with the sport, attending every class we could.
Not much has changed. Just yesterday he gave me a call and we talked about JiuJitsu for half an hour.
After a difficult setback where Johnny tore his ACL in a competition, he put in the work in his recovery and got back on the mats quicker than most.
He is still one of my favourite and most difficult rolls. Well deserved Johnny!

We had the most unreal experience with @curated_camps and @truthtravel in the Koue Bokkeveld.
A camping weekend with adventure, amazing people, good food and great wine.
We camped at @schoongezicht_campsite and had the amazing @mattmanningchef prepare the most incredible food.
@jeep_southafrica sorted us out with some fun toys.
Keen for more weekends like these!

Most people think their biggest money problem is not earning enough.

It usually isn’t.

The real problem starts when your lifestyle grows faster than your income.

In this clip, we break down one of the biggest financial mistakes people make, and why it’s so difficult to escape once it becomes a habit.

The full conversation out now — In My Corner Podcast on YouTube & Spotify.

What’s the biggest money lesson you’ve learned the hard way? 👇
