So, I did a thing!
I’ve been preparing for this journey for almost a year. Midway through last year, when I decided to give it my all, everything seemed to fall apart. It felt like my world was crumbling around me, and the weight of my burdens was too much to bear. But in the midst of it all, I kept hearing, ‘Be still’ and ‘Vengeance is His.’

Today, I can honestly say I am at peace. I have NEVER felt this level of calmness in my life. I’m grateful to be walking with my God, surrendering fully to Him and His will, and putting my flesh to death daily. Thank you Lord for Your Mercy on me❤️🙏🏽 by @justinamd_

Today marks one year since I gave my life to God.

Seven things this chapter has taught me:

1. How to surrender ALL control to God all the whys, ifs, timing… literally everything.
2. It’s okay to cry.
3. God refines what He plans to use, and He exalts the humble.
4. Wilderness seasons develop dependence on Him.
5. Everything always works out for my good.
6. There is purpose in everything.
7. God’s promises are between me and Him, they’re not for everyone to understand. taken in In God's Presence by @justinamd_
