Always great getting to hang with @johnnycupcakes whenever we're in Boston. You can't spend time with Johnny and not leave feeling motivated and inspired. Most importantly, it was so awesome hearing how he turns down opportunities to spend time with his wife. For someone that hustles as hard as he does, it's great to have friends with their priorities right. Thanks for having breakfast with us and sharing what you're up to! And thanks for the treats! Stoked to get to chat with DAAP students again today! I'm always humbled and excited to share my thoughts and experiences in animation & motion design with those just starting out in the field... especially on the business side of things. I feel like some try to hold tightly to their experience and techniques as 'proprietary' info. Not me. My goal is to level the playing field so we can all compete on a creative level.
I want to win against friendly competitors because my ideas are better, not because they forgot about self-employment tax and go-under. Thanks again @seanphafer for having @ryanwoolfolk and I! taken in University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning by @justinboh

So pumped that @garydarna and I took home 1st place during Star Wars trivia at @overlooktheridge tonight! Our team 'Let The Wookie Win' walked away with bragging rights and a carded Admiral Akbar toy that Gary can add to his already great collection. We played against 11 teams, but ended up squeaking by a single-person team for the win. Gary honestly answered 98% of the questions himself, but I had a few humdingers. If you don't know Gary, he founded a company called @completeset that catalogs and helps users sell collectibles. He built the platform because HE is a collector and super fan and needed a way to make things better for people like him. He's not just some CEO looking for a payout. He cares and knows about what he's making... which is proven by the win tonight. And the questions weren't easy. I'm talking 'Name all of the other bounty hunters other than Bobba that Vader hires'... and he nailed it. The best part of the night was getting to chat with the hosts and other super fans afterwards and to geek out a bit. by @justinboh

This girl means the absolute world to me. I first met Camille about 10 years ago when I went down to her family’s farmhouse in Demossville, KY for the first time. She was around 14 with a mouth full of braces and a heart full of kindness. Over the past decade, she’s become one of the most important people in my life. She’s become my little sister. She’s one of the very few I confide in when things get tough, and she’s the only person I say “I love you” to when saying goodbye that isn’t a relative. Since I’ve known Cam, she’s grown in her kindness, lovingness, boldness, and all kinds of other ’nesses’. She’s a beautiful, God-fearing woman who is filled to the brim with grace, humility, and thankfulness. A few years ago, she moved out to Ft. Collins, CO. I was really bummed because selfishly I didn’t want to see her move away from me. But bigger plans were afoot. I remember her calling me and saying “I met a boy”. As is typical of me, I immediately threw my guard up and asked a ton of questions, and as is typical of Cam, she ended it with “He treats me so well, I think you’ll really love him”. A little bit later, they both visited her family in KY, and I drove down to meet this new guy. After talking to Spencer for a bit, and seeing how he interacted with her and how he treated her, I saw what she meant. Spencer’s personality really compliments Camille. He is a calm, logical, kind, and a great leader. For as fierce as Cam can get, Spencer can bring balance. So after a few times hanging with Spencer, it was obvious where their relationship was heading, and I was stoked. Spencer was the best guy for Camille, and I couldn’t have been happier for the two of them. So, last night, I got to see Camille Garcia, whom I cherish, walk down the aisle to her new husband. And I lost it. Like, ugly crying lost it. Because I was so incredibly ecstatic for what God has in store for these two. For what Camille has meant to me. For how perfect Spencer is for her. For what their relationship is going to do for the world. For everything. I love you so much Camille Messer. #holymessermony taken in Avery House by @justinboh
