POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Stoked to have photo work in the winter 2023 edition of TROUT Magazine by @troutunlimited, but I am extremely honored to be recognized in the photographer spotlight article written by @joshdup. I’m still amazed that you were able to piece together my story from the scatter brained thoughts on our call. Thank you so much Josh! 🙏🏽

Table of Contents Image: During a @tu5riverscosta @pigfarmink get trashed event in the heart of the Driftless nature decided that it was a good time for a blizzard.

Featured. Floored. Forever grateful.

Massive thanks to @theflyfishjournal for the feature and gallery of my photography work, and to @rheahawkins for writing such a dangerously flattering piece. Still can’t believe I get to do this for a living.

I’m forever thankful for everyone who’s share the water, the laughs, and the snacks along the way. To the brands that have trusted me…thank you for letting me pretend I know what I’m doing. 🤠

Also, I just learned that LinkedIn upped the skills cap from 50 to 100. I finally have room to add “slow moving,” “accidental artist,” “small fish enthusiast,” “being a bad-ass Filipino,” and about 46 other questionable skills.

I’m also super stoked to have the spine quote! 🤘🏽

If you don’t subscribe to @theflyfishjournal, you should. #printsmellsbetterthaninstagram

Sorry for changing your name from Armstrong to Anderson @mustacheadventures 😂🤦🏻‍♂️. It was a long night of caption writing.

You ever have one of those days where everything just works?

This was one of those days. The kind that keeps us delusional all year.

Trout season closes today across the Wisconsin and Minnesota Driftless. Hope you got out and caught more fish than me!

Obviously this is a late fishing report from a few days ago.

There are designated stretches of trout streams in SE MN that stay open for catch and release. I’ll get to those in another post.

Went fishing. Got skunked. Took photos.

Grasshoppers were on the menu…but the trout weren’t ordering.

I’m a professional fishing guide and photographer. Today I was only qualified to do one of those things.

This one time @stcroixpeezworth “snuck up” on me and I reacted 3 business days later. 😂

My reaction time was questionable but my camera work was not. There’s video evidence of it on YouTube. You should check out the video (from 2023) on my channel.

Went fishing. Got skunked. Took photos.

All of these were taken standing in the same spot after I gave up on the trout.

I’m a professional fishing guide and photographer. Today I was only qualified to do one of those things.

Might have been my last guided float of the year. I should probably put the raft away before winter (I failed to do so the previous 2 winters).

But what if there’s one more nice day? And then another…and then another…and then another…🤠

Anyway…the smallies just never seem to get enough of the @fulling_mill jiggy fat minnow.
