she ate (a lot!) 🤭

rounding up some of my best eats in q3:
1-2: ok espresso martinis are my personality now. also, love the mushroom alsatian pizza because carmelized onions and roasted mushrooms on the crispiest crust? yum 🍕
3: garlic & parmesan fries at @bibio.mnl
4-5: my first time having gamjatang (korean pork neck soup) + it was fall of the bone tender? so good! (hot tip: take the broth home, sooo good on rice)
6: my usual at wantusawa 🦪
7: this gorgeous runny egg on the @kodawari.ph chilimansi >>
8: smoked salmon tartine + mont blanc at @spottedpigmnl (dog friendly when dining al fresco btw)
9-11: favorites from that off menu one night only dinner at taqueria franco. (i still dream about that beef & foie dish 🥲)
12-13: old and new favorites at @ooma_ph 🤎
14: calamansi cream pie at @georgeandonnies 🥧
15: excellent french onion soup at @lecoucou.mnl - i need this again soon
16-18 crab bisque, lechon kawali, lemon soufflé pancakes — all worth calling home for 🥞
19: pinoy merienda/early dinner at @mesaphilippines
20: can’t believe i only just had llao llao in the last month! that pistachio topping? so good. 😩 by @justinconvento

wasn’t sad, i just needed a @manamph sibling movie date 🤍

caught the premiere of @forgottenislandmovie and tried the limited-time Asim Sarap Sinigang Popcorn, available exclusively at @powerplantmall cinemas 🍿

apparently snacks on snacks, people i love, and a high-energy animated adventure that puts philippine mythology, friendship, and found family in the spotlight is just what the doctor ordered 😋 taken in Power Plant Cinema by @justinconvento

A Saturday afternoon well spent with Philippine art and friends. 🖼️✨

I love making time to see great works of art up close. There is something incredibly captivating about the enduring beauty of Fernando Amorsolo, alongside the wonderfully unexpected. And I find myself in awe of the extraordinary talent our country has produced, and continues to produce, and the many ways our artists have captured the Filipino experience—distinct, and yet so uniquely our own.

Among the pieces we were particularly taken with: Mark Lester Espina’s The Withered Vincent, alongside works by Elmer Borlongan, Marina Cruz, Emmanuel Garibay, Arturo Luz, Juvenal Sansó, Romeo Tabuena, Lydia Velasco, John Paul Duray, and BenCab… truly, so many worth lingering over and work that has stayed with me since seeing them up close.

The Well-Appointed Life is a beautiful reminder that living well is, in part, about making room for art, history and things that move you.

The preview is open from today, Tuesday, September 8, through Saturday, September 12, when the auction takes place. If you have the chance, do make time for it! taken in Salcedo Auctions by @justinconvento

it’s just a little over a week before my birthday. while things can feel overwhelming sometimes, i can’t complain. here’s a little dump c/o my faves album from the past few months! (super randomly picked. if the cap was 40, I’d still be able to fill it — and that’s something I’m so grateful for. 🥰)

pov: your early morning wake-up call ends with spain lifting the trophy! an absolutely well-deserved win 🇪🇸♥️🥂

your girl caught world cup fever *hard* 😮‍💨 i fell in love with watching football again, and catching the final match on a massive movie theater screen—with great company, snacks, and drinks—was the best way to cap it all off. (now that’s how you do a watch party!!)

thank you for such an epic evening (err… morning?), @sm_cinema and @smaurapremier ♥️ one for the books!

‘Tuner’ - wow, this film!! Truly exceeded my expectations - what a story, what great pacing, deeply human characters. Even the love story was pretty endearing and believable ♥️ A solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ :) moving performances all around, and so well written

‘Tuner’ opens exclusively in Ayala Malls Cinemas on July 22, with special early access screenings on July 18. I would say it’s a must-watch 😋

Thank you bestie for tagging me along @abboudfiras - always happy and privileged to be your plus one and to discuss films with you ♥️ @ayalamallscinemas @blackbearpics taken in Greenbelt 3 Makati by @justinconvento
