“oh, don’t you see? finally i’ll be… somewhere that’s green” 🪴♥️✨

we closed little shop of horrors at @littletheatreonthesquare on sunday 🥹 i’m exhausted and so SO fulfilled. this show was a total dream, and the cast was absolutely incredible; hardworking, hilarious, and BEYOND talented. i’m so so proud of what we created, and i miss it already. our skid row was full of joy and heart and laughter 💚 i love you hooligans!!!

big thanks to John, Therese, and the rest of the LTOTS fam for bringing me in & making me feel so seen ☺️💕
Sean, Katie, Kevin, Megan, Kendra, Zach: you’re icons, thank you for everything!!
there are so many other people i want to shoutout… this one took a village, so i’m sending love and gratitude to you all 💫

I’m so SO excited to be taking on two dream shows/roles at @littletheatreonthesquare this summer ☺️ I’ll be playing Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and then Janice in Come From Away… eek!!!

Come see us on Skid Row… I mean, in Gander… I mean in Sullivan!!

peace out 2024 !! ✌🏻

——

this year was a lot.

there were lows… a terrifying political climate. feeling stagnant, feeling heartbreak. struggling with anxiety and fear.

but there were also a LOT of highs… exciting callbacks, dream roles, amazing travel, laughter with friends, a lot of personal growth, and a ton of quality time with my fam 🩵

i’ve been learning to listen to my gut more. trying to lean away from fear, and lean into my authentic self. trusting that i already carry all i need. and i’m still working on it, but i’m proud of myself. it feels so cheesy to write this out for social media, but life is too short to worry about being cool. embarrassment is for suckers!!

it’s officially the new year out here in new zealand, and let me tell ya, 2025 is looking real good already 😊 by @justinekc

diving into this iconic role was an enticing challenge and unbelievable joy that i never thought i would get to experience at this point in my career. it was a huge dream that i didn’t know i had.

i am beyond grateful that my cast was made up of artists who are not only incredibly talented but also incredibly kind. i’m particularly grateful to have had the best sweeney i could have ever asked for by my side. i’d jump into hell with you any day, eric.

i’m not sure i have the perfect words to encapsulate how i feel about this show. what i can say is that it felt magical… sparkly and important, and that won’t leave me for a long time. being able to share it with my closest friends and family in washington just made it all the more special.

‘til next time, nellie 😏❤️‍🔥
