I can’t ever find the words to explain what losing your mom feels like. It’s more than a loss. It’s like losing a piece of yourself. A piece of your entire world. You won’t ever be the same. Some days you will smile at a memory and some days there will be moments you remember that make your heart ache. Some days you will just cry for her. It’s a constant voice in your head and heart that says “mama i need you.” I know our souls will realign in every life but damn ma, I miss you so much.

Happy Earth Day 🌱🌎

Today is Earth Day but for lovers of the sacred, every day is a day to bow before the original altar: Earth herself.
No matter how much humanity tries to destroy her, exploit her, or forget her
She remains.
Holding us.
Feeding us.
Cradling our grief in her oceans,
Rooting our joy in her forests.
Letting us breathe, even when we forget to say thank you.

Today, I hope you remember.
