A goal for 2026: make more actual posts rather than just stories.

2025 was insanely busy and I learned a lot about what I need in terms of rest. But despite how hard it was, there was a lot of great family time, including a lot of fun with my cousins and my aunties which was a real joy. Definitely feeling lucky when I reflect on last year.

My bestie is getting married today so she gets a real post and not just a story!!

Amanda is the best friend a girl could ask for. She has taught me so much about what it means to be a best friend and to support each other no matter what. She’s always a safe place to land and inspires that in others.

I treasure the years we spent going to the ranch, the four yrs on the East Coast together developing our own traditions over Thanksgivings and New Years (I like to think the cioppino I made NYE 2019 helped win Jon’s heart). Even the year we were on opposite coasts and had to find a routine for calling each other was special. And now I have a beautiful, self proclaimed, godson to spoil.

Went to Maine and found out about the family head tilt 😂

In all seriousness, had a wonderful weekend with some of my favorite people celebrating love and family. Beautiful weather, twin hijinks, LOTS of dancing,and my mind was changed on lobster.

Also learned there are people out there who have never heard of The Beatles. So there is that. by @justineroadie

What a weird xmas. No snow and 3/5 of us got the flu. Traveled all this way to see family I haven’t seen since I was 12 and didn’t get to see any of them because I was sick 🤦🏻‍♀️ But we proved we CAN tone down the presents (if we are restricted by suitcase size) and still slay at trivia despite illnesses.

1. Trying to get a family pic once all of us were well enough to stand
2. Finally all at full strength as we packed to leave

this feels stupid hard. i am a taurus so i hate change and once you are in my tribe, i don’t like to let go (like a dragon guarding gold).

i knew i was in for an adventure when i first met Jane and she lied about having an “annual halloween party.” 6 yrs later and im so glad her and Maude chose me to move in. we survived a freaking pandemic together AND stayed roommates and friends! like i said, letting go of gold is hard.

from HOPR to halloween to chasing cleo around the house to give her medicine - the adventure has been so fun and i cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Kick arse in London Jane! Please find some nice gents for when Maude and I visit. and please don’t lose your key, you’re gonna need it when you visit.

p.s. our zodiac signs are all next to each other - if you think i’m not still gonna read yours, you’re crazy!

May we all end surrounded by family and eating ice cream. Rest in Peace to one of the most quietly funny guys and avid recliner aficionado. Have so much fun at what I know is probably the ultimate Red Sox All Star game up there. by @justineroadie
