This year hit different.

What a blessing to see our little girl not just growing up but also growing closer to Jesus. As much as I love her, I’m grateful for a God that loves her more.

Tropicana Field • Home of the Tampa Bay Rays • 6 of 30

We are on a quest to see all 30 MLB Parks as a family. Watching a game indoors was definitely unique but in 100° Florida heat, I’ll take it.

Yanks finally scored some runs so that wasn’t bad either.

Year Three in the Books at Brooks 📚🦁

Some goodbyes and some new beginnings. Incredibly blessed to be at this place with these people.

It’s a humbling profession.

This JV team only had one player returning from last year and I asked a lot of guys to step up and play roles they had never had to play. They are a great group of kids who gave us zero problems on and off the court. Honestly, I think this team taught me more than I taught them and ultimateIy I am proud of how we handled the highs and how we battled through the lows. That’s sports and that’s definitely life. It was a challeiging year but I love these dudes and would run it back with them in a heartbeat.

Doesn’t matter if we are competing in 4A, 5A or 10A. There is a championship standard at Brooks and that will continue to be our goal moving forward.

“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” - 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭12‬-‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ taken in Brooks High School (Alabama) by @justinjefferies
