Y’all finished binge watching #thebestmanthefinalchapters yet? All 8 episodes are on @peacocktv and you will not be disappointed! What a journey for this group of friends! For @theqgentleman I had the chance to have some fun with one of my favorite actresses @morereginahall and Morris Chestnut as we talked about this final chapter! #reginahall #blackcinema #bingewatching by @justinjwrites

“I do not want this to be another group of Black men that got podcast mics.”

@theqgentleman continues to move the needle and push the narrative forward for Black men! And I’m happy I had a chance to help bring this project to life!

“Quintessentially Speaking” is the new podcast series from #TheQuintessentialGentleman, hosted by @ItsEricKeith and @JonathanJWells, and built on one simple premise: Black men deserve a space where they are heard in full color.

The debut episode is just Eric and Jonathan, getting into it with each other before the guests arrive. And they go there.

Why Keith built “The Quintessential Gentleman” in the first place. What it feels like to navigate predominantly white spaces. Hustle culture, sleep, and why neither of them is interested in grinding themselves into the ground to prove something.

#QuintessentiallySpeaking Episode 1 is available now on Spotify and Apple: link in bio.

Episode 2 drops tomorrow! Give it a listen on #spotify or #applepodcasts

“The naivety protected me to this point, but the anger opened my eyes.”

Watching the BAFTA broadcast leave in a violent racial slur while demanding Black forgiveness completely demolished the shelter of my naivety.

We are constantly told to endure, give grace, show understanding, and quickly move on.

But it wasn’t just the incident itself that sparked my anger; it was the delayed broadcast double standards, the curated PR "word salads" that centered everyone's comfort except the Black people harmed, and the sudden wave of internet "experts" policing our reactions.

Our pain was used as a launching pad for awareness, without an ounce of genuine accountability.

It’s exhausting how quickly society demands we swallow our anger to make everyone else comfortable. We deserve the space to be disappointed.
