It was October of 2020, the #film industry was slowly coming back to life and @chrisleclerc invited me out to the middle of Wisconsin to spend a week running his camera dept on a small shoot for a non-profit he was directing a project for.

I had just started shooting 35mm stills on an Olympus Om-1n and for some reason, on this trip, I became mildly obsessed with getting a picture of #cows on #35mm

So one afternoon we had 20min of downtime and I convinced Chris to drive me out to the cow pasture where he spent 20min watching me, attempt to sneak up on the creatures.

In the end I didn't quite get the frame I wanted but these still make me smile. by @justinlinn

Here's a Nike home court spot, shot on #super16 film (Aaton ZTR if I remember correctly) a few years back.

This was an after school program that taught boxing to the youth. Helping them build skills and self confidence.

Few years back I was in #Alaska, outside Anchorage a couple hours, scouting for a project that never quite came through. Our budget got cut and then we ended up turning the new request down.

Even though the project didn't end up happening I'm so glad I got the opportunity to scout a small portion of the most beautiful state I think I've ever been to other than Hawaii. It's a different type of beauty though. Every view is a landscape out of a painting from the romanticism period.

From probably 9-10 years ago, I was invited by a couple friends @jeremyheslup (Director/Producer) and @davidschmalz (Composer/Sound Designer/Audio Engineer) out to the border of Tennesee and North Carolina for a week of shooting through the back roads of the Appalachian mountains.

It was quite an adventure from the start. We were literally surrounded in a ravine by homeland security on the scout day because we flew a drone near a dam (oops). Smooth sailing and still some of the best bbq after that. All in all it was a fun one for Land Rover.

It was so long ago, we shot on a #movi m15 (model previous the Movi pro), #canon 5dMkIII's with #Zeiss lenses. by @justinlinn

Destination Madison #commercial from several years ago. Director/DP: Jacob George. I was his gimbal operator for this one. Lotta fun seeing Madison like this. The production took me to a lot of places I've never seen.

ComEd commercial from a few years back. I was the Gimbal operator for it. We had to fit the camera through 2 windows in one shot. In the end, I had me and 2 key grips throwing a stripped down #Movi through 2 separate 28" square window openings with a wrap around at the end. The rig was about 27" tall so we had to be a bit precise.

DP: Richard Henkels was on the #nodo inertia wheels for the kitchen portion of it.

Shot this quick #promo for a close friend/musician/producer, @scyllaproducer awhile back. Low budget run and gun can still produce pretty images
