My God no! What is happening now Sam Rivers died today🙂‍↕️. I was Blessed to see him perform live, when I took up Bass I read an article on Sam Rivers, it was Bassists like Rivers, Grey, Moyer Flea & Fieldy that gave me so much respect for the instrument, I want a new Bass guitar. Fred Durst "Today we lost our brother. Our bandmate. Our heartbeat. Sam Rivers wasn't just our bass player — he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound," the band wrote. "From the first note we ever played together, Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced. His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous."
