Carrying ideas, responsibility, risk, and leadership can be isolating when everyone around you only sees the outcome and not the weight.

Stay-at-home moms need community because the work is unseen.

It wasn’t bad, it was absolutely amazing. And I questioned God if I was good enough to do it. I’ve learned that giving Hod your yes isn’t giving it to him when YOU ARE ready.

Obedience before understanding.

My mom ALWAYS said she wanted a big party for her 60th birthday.

My brother and I originally started planning one as a surprise, but for some reason, it just was not coming together.

Then one day I heard a quiet whisper: “Photoshoot.”

So we pivoted. And honestly, I didn’t feel like a photoshoot would suffice..

But we planned the shoot, celebrated her, captured the moment, and at the time, I thought that was all it was.

I had no idea those same pictures would be used for her obituary and funeral just two months later.

Sometimes you won’t understand why God is telling you to do something until much later.

So write the business plan.
Step out on faith.
Post the video.
Apply for the college.
Submit the application.
Start the ministry.
Take the pictures.
Book the trip.
Make the phone call.
Have the conversation.
Forgive them.
Say “I love you.”
Spend the time.
Start the thing God keeps putting on your heart.

Stop waiting until every detail makes sense before you move.

Some instructions won’t make sense in the moment. Some opportunities won’t look important until you’re looking back at them. And some acts of obedience may become something you didn’t even know you were going to need.

You don’t always need the full understanding.

Sometimes you just need to obey.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Some seasons will make you question everything—your strength, your purpose, even whether you have anything left to give.

And sometimes “keep going” doesn’t look like pushing harder. Sometimes it looks like showing up tired. Praying when you don’t have the words. Taking one small step when you really want to stop altogether.

I’m learning that I don’t have to feel strong to keep moving. I just have to remember that this season is a chapter, not the whole story.

So if you’re carrying more than people can see right now, this is your reminder—and mine:

Keep going. 🤎 God is still writing.

The camp ended, but nobody told the kids. 😂💃🏾🕺🏾

Quick Buc-ee’s stop on the way home and somehow the dance party continued. 🤠🔥 What started as a simple snack break turned into one last chance to laugh together, sing at the top of our lungs, and soak in every remaining moment before heading back home.

This week at Stoney Creek Ranch was about so much more than camp activities. It was a week filled with new friendships, meaningful conversations, unforgettable adventures, and moments where kids grew in their faith and confidence. From morning activities to late-night laughs, every day brought opportunities to learn, connect, and experience God’s love in a real way.

We’re grateful for every laugh, every friendship, every lesson learned, and every moment spent growing together this week at Stoney Creek Ranch. Watching these kids encourage one another, step outside their comfort zones, and create lasting bonds was a reminder of how impactful a week away can be.

Safe to say these kids made memories they’ll be talking about all summer—and we believe the lessons, friendships, and faith built this week will stay with them long after camp is over. ❤️🏕️

So obviously life has been lifeing. My husband turned 30 a few days ago! Such a big milestone for it to also be a first birthday all over again.

We both needed something to DO, not dinner where we’re forced to sit and talk about how life is right now. The views, being in nature, riding straight through the mud was exactly what we needed.

So grateful for our friends who were able to join us on this adventure.
