Let’s see if this posts. I know some of you have heard this song from my rep - but I have been doing it in my show and it’s truly such a magical moment for me. I love Barry Manilow. I hope you like it!

Having fun going through some photos I took through my last year at sea. I think 1/100 are pretty good and I probably took about 12,000 so lets hope I get a decent amount I like! taken in Tokyo, Japan by @justlikeike

Had a stellar audition this morning. I sang a COMPLETELY different song than this. But this song has been the most recent addition to my book.

After yesterday, now I just want to sing a cut from my book each night… the luxury of living in a van with no roommates or neighbors; I can be as loud as I want whenever I want! (Don’t think into that too much).

I was recently encouraging another actor friend of mine to just sing songs they like or want to sing, so it feels only right to heed my own advice. As my voice is working it’s way back, I want to sort out the duds in my book and become extremely dynamic with the songs I use when I walk into these (daily) calls/auditions.

I asked a few days ago for some vocal teachers here in NYC and I got so many responses, THANK YOU. I want to find some new warm-ups and have someone help me put my voice back together in its new form. Restructuring my book and selecting the 15-20 songs I want to have in there would help make my voice lessons a little more specific.

In addition to sorting out my voice, I am sorting out intention with each song. That’s been fun. I’m still working on it for this PARTICULAR cut, but I think I figured out a lot just watching a few takes already, but this seemed suitable for tonight.

Singing for singing’s sake is also a viable option. I tend to treat things as work related, but sing just to sing too. I forget that. It’s a well-rounded person’s art. 🎤 🎶 taken in Manhattan, New York by @justlikeike

I don't love giving people my camera to take photos of me. I don't like many angles of myself. I love taking photos of others though, so it is a bit ironic. What I usually find when looking back and finding photos of myself is that I make the same pose. I placed one photo in here to make you see the difference as to when I DO NOT make the normal pose. by @justlikeike

Alright, alright… I need some feedback.
Comment 1-4 as to which look you like.. and if you had to caption them, what would they be?
I’ll start.
1) Just booked law and order as the newest officer at the precinct.

These are UNEDITED so please help me narrow down some choices. Many more to come!

One of my favorite songs to sing. I’ve posted it about 3 times but the best ones are the ones you keep singing! Glenn Campbell is an incredible performer. Thankful for singing this over the last couple of years!

One more song! This is a personal favorite. If I didn’t keep it under 3 minutes apparently Instagram hates it, so if you want to see the full version you can go to my YouTube @justlikeike ! I’ll post clips of the show there. If you want to see it in person, I guess you’ll have to book a cruise!!! 🚢 🌊 (subtle hints)
