NEVER give up on your dreams!

You know what separates the people living their dreams from the people who only dream about them? THEY REFUSE TO GIVE UP!

Now, don’t get me wrong. I understand that some people are born with a silver spoon while others have to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Some of us come from families who have already tasted success, while others of us are first-generation graduates or even first-generation citizens.

We don’t all start at the same starting line, and I recognize that!

BUT we all have the ability to take steps toward creating a better future for ourselves. And those steps can take us in SO MANY different directions!

I can hear you saying, “But, Specky, it’s HARD!”

OKAY, SO THE FUCK WHAT?! 😂🔥

You know what else is hard? SETTLING FOR LESS!

It’s hard yearning for more while knowing deep down that you’re not doing everything you can to get there. It’s hard watching time pass while your dreams remain on the back burner. It’s hard knowing you’re capable of more but never giving yourself the chance to prove it!

SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?!

GET UP AND GET AFTER IT!

You don’t have to have everything figured out today. You don’t have to be the smartest, the richest, or the most connected person in the room.

BUT YOU DO HAVE TO BE WILLING TO TRY!

Every step forward counts. Every lesson learned matters. Every time you get knocked down and decide to get back up, you’re building the person you need to become to reach your goals.

REFUSE TO QUIT!

And listen, just because your life doesn’t look like a WIN right now doesn’t mean you’re a loser!

You are capable of learning. You are capable of growing. You are capable of overcoming obstacles you once thought would break you.

YOU ARE STILL IN THE GAME!

So stop counting yourself out. Stop disqualifying yourself before you even give yourself a chance. And stop treating temporary setbacks like permanent defeats!

Your story isn’t over. Your dreams are still worth pursuing. And there’s still work to be done!

❤️ FAMILY OVER EVERYTHING! ❤️

Nothing brings me more joy or keeps me more grounded than my monthly visits with my family. ❤️

I fly in, we worship the Lord together, eat, fellowship, make memories, and just like that, I’m right back out!

I KNOW not everyone has the opportunity to connect with their loved ones like this, BUT if you’re just a quick drive away from the people you share blood with, BE SURE TO MAKE THE TIME!

Put forth the effort!
Mend relationships that have been damaged.
Foster the relationships that are already thriving.
Make the phone call. Plan the visit. Spend the extra time. Create the memories.

Am I always in a happy mood? NO! 😂

I absolutely allow myself moments to feel ALL the feels. But overall, I wake up with the mindset that I want to ENJOY this life—and for me, being happy is how I’m able to do that.
