🌟 Unveiling “Apure en un Viaje” - A Musical Journey Through Venezuela 🌟

We are thrilled to announce the release of the video for “Apure en un Viaje,” a vibrant journey across the plains of Venezuela featuring award-winning trumpet soloist Morris Northcutt, legendary trombonist Domingo Pagliuca of Boston Brass (Latin Grammy winner), and the incomparable Venezuelan cuatro player Edward Ramírez of C4Trio (multi-Latin Grammy Winner).

This spectacular track includes contributions from extraordinary arranger and producer Justo Morao (Latin Grammy nominee) and Maestro Ollantay Velasquez (Latin Grammy winner). Expertly mixed and mastered by multi-Grammy and multi-Latin Grammy award-winning engineer German Landaeta, every note resonates with perfection.

🎥 Many thanks to talented Daniel Dannery for his creative video work.

FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION
BEST CHAMBER MUSIC/SMALL ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE

“Secret Garden”
Morris Northcutt, trumpet, with Justo Morao, Nicole Gedler, Ricardo Corniel and Miguel González-Kong

Following the loss of my parents, music—and especially the trumpet—became a private place for me to process grief, find healing and move forward.

Rolf Løvland’s beloved “Secret Garden” came to represent that place: a refuge where difficult emotions could coexist with beauty, strength and hope. Created across the United States and Venezuela, this intimate recording brings together lyrical trumpet, piano, viola, cello and double bass, allowing the melody to unfold with warmth, space and vulnerability.

“Each note from the trumpet reaches into your soul and stirs your emotions.”
—The Other Side Reviews

With gratitude to these wonderful collaborators:
@justomorao — piano, arrangement and production
@gedlernicole — viola
@ricardocorniel — cello
@gkmiguel1975 — double bass
@ozambrano of @zampolproductions — mixing and mastering

Please listen, watch and learn more at the link in my bio or visit:

Thank you for listening and for your consideration.
