Homage to Little Oth,
From barely born at 6 months to 9 years old, I lived in a refugee camp. My family and I were homeless and displaced, 3 of the 9 years we didnt have electricity at night.

Through determination of my mother, I was able to go a catholic school where I learned to dream bigger and outside of the refugee camp. I remember reading about the highest mountain on Earth, Mt Everest. I hoped to the stars that one day I could see it. For someone like me who grew up in abject poverty and at the bottom of society, I wish to witness something that physically represents the highest place on this planet.

So this 18 day trekking adventure is for you, little Oth.

Its been a month since we quit everything to pursue our dreams of traveling the world. Getting to see this type of beauty makes it all worth it.

A sunrise hike to the summit of Mount Rinjani was the hardest thing I physically had done. I thought I wasnt going to make it, I got cramps on one knee but step by step Mark and I slowly willed our tired and sore bodies to the 3,724 meter summit. It was as much a physical test as it was a mental test. Tears brimmed my eyes when I realized I made it.

In June, we explored the islands of Bali and Lombok. We showered in the many beautiful waterfalls of Ubud and Munduk, dived deep to see the shipwreck turned corals in Amed, and hiked above the clouds at Mt. Batur and Mt. Rinjani. It is our first month in Indonesia and it is truly unforgettable.

Swimming with the gentle giants in the remote island of Rurutu in French Polynesia. This was a once in lifetime experience for us.

Last year for my birthday I reached for the stars summiting 6000m mountain, this year I dove in the blue to share the sea with these giants.

Pearl of the Pacific: Bora Bora and Maupiti. We hiked their highest peaks to see their fifty shades of blue. Truly breathtaking.

But some of these hikes almost ended us 😂

Celebrating our 2 year travel anniversary in the breathtaking Galapagos Islands. I used to read about them in school, and it's surreal to be here. The experience is made even more incredible by the unique wildlife that inhabits both the land and sea. Little Oth always dreamed of seeing giant tortoises and marine iguanas, and now, as older Oth, I'm beyond thrilled to have seen hammerheads underwater.

Brazil Pt 2: Visiting over 400 miles of magnificent coast lines. Natal, Pipah, Joao Pessoa, Coqueirinho, Recife, Olinda, Mararogi, Sao Miguel, Ilha Grande and Rio de Janeiro.

Brazil probably has one of the most diverse and beautiful coast lines in the world. Goodbye and we will def see you again Brazil!!!

The Mother of All Waterfalls - Iguacu. 🇧🇷🇦🇷

Ending 2025 doing what we love...together. Moving all the time can be exhausting but seeing these epic waterfalls like today makes it worth it.

Happy New Year to all the friends and family we have missed and the stranger/travelers we met along the way. May you find joy, happiness, good health and peace.
