From garden tours to herbal tea blending and calendula salve making, our Herbal Afternoon was filled with practical skills, great conversations, and a deeper appreciation for the plants growing all around us. We love creating opportunities for our community to learn, connect, and grow together.

Today we said goodbye to a legend. 🤍

Chuck Norris didn’t just leave behind iconic one-liners… he left behind a legacy of humor, strength, and stories we’ll be quoting for years.

@chipdixon1 took a moment to share some of his favorite Chuck Norris-isms, and honestly… it just felt right.

Rest easy to a true original. You’ll always have the last punchline.

This is why I love what I do.

Family sessions aren’t about stiff poses or perfect smiles, they’re about capturing connection. The in-between moments. The way people lean toward each other without thinking. The laughter that sneaks in when no one’s trying too hard.

When I photograph families, my goal is always the same: to preserve this season. Because time moves fast, and these moments deserve to be remembered exactly as they are, real, warm, and full of love.

I’m so grateful when families trust me to document their story. It’s an honor I never take lightly.

Love you @mrs.brasher

Save this if you believe photos should feel like memories, not performances.

Today’s Just Peachy adventure looked a little different… I got to give a group of school-aged kiddos a behind-the-scenes tour of WBBJ! 📺✨

We walked through the studio, talked all things cameras and weather, and at the end I asked them what their favorite part was. Their answers? Absolutely precious.

It’s moments like this that remind me why I love building community here in Jackson. 🍑

Today’s field trip to Davy Crockett Lake was exactly what learning should feel like, fresh air, big smiles, muddy shoes, and memories that stick. Our students explored, laughed, adventured, and soaked up the beauty of fall together. A very good day to be a Grand Life kid!

From orchard to oven, today’s lesson was all about apples! 🍏

Students made apple pie filling, learned how to turn scraps into apple juice and cider vinegar, and got a taste of how nothing on the farm goes to waste.

We asked our FUMC Dance Team what their favorite part of dancing at church is, and their answers remind us why we do what we do.

Each movement, each smile, each moment on stage is an offering of worship, a way to glorify God through creativity and joy.

We’re so thankful for these dancers and the light they bring to our Worship Arts ministry.

Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

Our WALK kiddos kicked off worship with the sweetest Ringing of the Chimes and it was pure joy! From practice to performance, their excitement filled the room (and maybe a few hearts melted, too).

We are so proud of these young musicians and the way they’re learning to worship through music.

If your child loves to sing, play, or just make a joyful noise, we’d love for them to be part of WALK on Wednesday nights, where we’re helping kids discover their gifts and grow in faith.
