Every good problem needs a good start point.
Now that we know where we’re at, let’s get to the fun part and test everything!

Metric:

Exterior: How the vehicle presents aesthetically.

Interior & comfort: Seating comfort, cabin space, cargo capacity, material quality, and noise insulation.

Performance: Engine power, torque, acceleration, fuel efficiency, transmission shifts and responsiveness.

Driving Dynamics: Ride comfort, suspension quality, handling, steering responsiveness, and noise levels.

Technology: Infotainment system usability, Bluetooth/smartphone connectivity, Apple Carplay/Android Auto.

Practicality: Daily usability, maneuverability (turning radius), and cost of maintenance.

Value: Who is this for and how does it compare against competitors?

My marketing is bad and that’s okay.
10+ years shooting content for everybody else.
Someone at a film fest last year told me - don’t forget to shoot for yourself. The pursuit of cash is good, but you’re creating for a meaning and a purpose.
This is day one on figuring out how to document myself the way I document others. How to give myself the same grace I give to everybody else.
Follow along on the journey as we learn.
Big up.

The BYD Shark is built for the driver who wants their truck to feel like the future. Fast, packed with tech and capable.

It’s still new territory, and only time will tell how it holds up. Buying one today is a bet on where driving is headed.

Would you make that bet? 👇
Mention “Southy” when you speak to your sales advisor 🤞🏾

Diesel’s out, electric and hybrid pickups are in and my brain is stuck in two different arenas. Shortlisted the conventional side (Hilux, Ranger) against the tech-heavy side (BYD Shark, GWM Cannon Alpha PHEV/ P-Series Sahar PHEV) and now I need to test drive every single one before I decide. Which way would you go? Drop a comment or DM me, let’s get the conversation started.

Everyday we have little moments that are completely exceptional happening and passing by. All we need to do is slow down and embrace them and find the stories in the mundane

This year I made a mission to write down all the moons in my notes app and last night I finally got to see one and record it. This is how it turned out 🇯🇲 taken in Kingston, Jamaica by @justsouthy

A good listing photo does something weird: it makes a stranger picture themselves living there before they’ve ever seen it in person.

That’s the part I love about shooting these spaces. Not the furniture, the feeling.

I’ve found my creation does best when I actually do activities that allow me to experience and feel something. I left this workshop feeling like I touched some grass and learned a new skill. Check out @stemandstorystudio whenever if you feel like experiencing something new 🌹🌺 taken in Ragamuffin Cafe by @justsouthy

I’ve spent so much time thinking about posting that I haven’t actually posted. I’m getting back into the discipline of just doing it. Wherever you are in your own timeline, just release it. Get the data, let it exist in the real world and continue to refine. taken in Kingston, Jamaica by @justsouthy
