IM BACK IN LA AND MY JOURNEY AS A FILMMAKER HAS JUST BEGUN!

Some background: I lived in LA for 2.5 years mostly pursuing freelance videography and content creation! I always thought I would end up doing narrative filmmaking but it always stayed in the back of my mind… However this past 1.5 away from LA has given me a lot of time to think and with that I told myself I would come back and take this path seriously!

I am not the most experienced in working on set so there’s still so much to learn. But I want this bad and I’m willing to do what I can to get to where I need to go and God willing I’mma get there!

So follow along this is the beginning of something great!

WHATS GOOD LA WE BACK FROM THE TIME SKIP! 🌴

Over the past year and a half away from LA I learned a lot of things about myself, not only as a creative but as a person. Anxiety, jealousy, depression, guilt, shame… God allowed me to face it all head on In preparation for what’s next! Although I haven’t fully come to an understanding of all that is Fitzgerald Shalombulu Alan, I’m excited to continue learning in growing in a place that I call home!

With a new focus, determination and drive! To carve space for me and my Community through the power of storytelling as a filmmaker!

If you’re a filmmaker in LA tap in. It’s only the beginning and up is the destination! Let’s get to Work! taken in Los Angeles, California by @justxfitz

Entered my late 20s but I’m still on that timing 💯 couldn’t be anymore grateful 🙏🏿 . Shoutout to all of the people that made this week special! (27🎂 OCT 7TH)

Been taking a lot of time to reflect on what I’ve been building for myself over these years up until now… I still have a long way to go to get to where God is calling me. But I’m eternally grateful to enter on what we’ve done so far. Every step forward it is a gift and I’m excited to keep walking!

The AGA EPISODE 4 | THE ULTIMATE GAME!

The waiting game

|| How to be more patient . How to wait. God’s timing. Waiting on God’s timing. ||

| Sometimes in life, we can get caught up in the restlessness of not making a move. Either it’s the move that we feel we want to make to move forward. Sometimes it’s the move into more security. Sometimes it’s the move into a higher status or career. Whatever that may look like it seems as though we torture ourselves with not being able to move on our own time. However, you must remember that patience is a virtue and it’s that virtue that will. Give you the growth you need before it’s your turn. I’m not saying you can’t make moves, but if you feel like you can’t. Maybe it’s just not your turn to make one and you need to have peace with that and wait for your turn by @justxfitz
