spent a long, inspiring weekend celebrating 35 🌱 hand in hand with the ones who held me close on the thrilling rollercoaster that was this past year 🙃🎢

we started by previewing the @obamafoundation which was the invite of a lifetime the refill of hope I desperately needed. then, we celebrated the love story of our dear friends @aliohlala + @zackshirtum 🌸 followed by a fabfam summer bbq hosted by besties @sandrasimsim @seanm.music, and closing with a perfect day at #sixflagsgreatamerica to remind me that I’m alive and still very much a kid at heart 🩵

thank you to my boo and crew for showing up for me, time and time again, and to every single soul that took a moment out of their day to reach out or simply think of me. I have never felt more loved. 🫶🏽 taken in Obama Presidential Center by @justyontop

Corpse Pose, the short film by @filminabag, is out now on @youtube 🐦‍🔥🎯 hit the link in my bio to watch the full film!

thank you @theteresamoore and FIAB for trusting me with bringing Phoenix to life… or death? 👀 — I am still in awe to have been asked to co-lead this chapter of your 12 part series. what a dream is was to star alongside the incredible @macpeach who guided me so tenderly (even though she wanted to kill me on screen) and my superstar besties @sandrasimsim @bethaburn @kimmydartist and @marenrosenberg who hyped me up the entire time 🤩

I can hardly believe that there are now TWO short films featuring music from my album LOVECHILD 🩵 I made this record to share my story and now it shares space with many more stories and hopefully more to come 🥹

big thanks to the incredible crew who worked tirelessly to make this sparkle and my forever performing arts community who believed in this project and my new found love for the silver screen 🎬⭐️

who knows where this Phoenix will land next 🐦‍🔥🔎 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @justyontop
