Brand content is changing fast, and I think 2027 will push it even further. We’ll likely see less generic UGC, stronger art direction, more human-made content, and shoots planned as full content systems rather than just a set of nice photos. For Canadian brands, especially smaller and growing ones, this means every shoot needs to work harder: not only look good, but also create enough material for social media, ads, product discovery, and long-term brand building. These are a few shifts I’m already keeping in mind when planning content for brands in Canada. Which one do you think we’ll see the most in 2027? I used to think I needed to choose one version of my life and commit to it. But maybe life is not one path. Maybe it is a collection of chapters, and changing direction does not mean you failed.
