We’re thrilled to welcome Michaela Cisarikova as the first guest choreographer for JV2 2026! Michaela studied the Jasmin Vardimon PG Certificate in Physical Theatre for Dancers and Actors, Royal Holloway University of London, Egham in 2014.Originally from Slovakia and now based in the UK, Michaela is an acclaimed dance artist, choreographer, movement director and educator whose work seamlessly blends contemporary dance, hip-hop, physical theatre and storytelling.As the founder and Artistic Director of MCDC – Michaela Cisarikova Dance Company, and an Associate Artist & Rehearsal Director with Walker’s 201 Dance Company, Michaela has established herself as a dynamic force within the UK dance landscape.JV2 dancers will have the opportunity to explore her innovative movement language, deepen their performance skills, and gain valuable insight from her extensive professional experience.We can’t wait to see what unfolds in the studio! 💫#JV2 #ProfessionalDevelopmentProgramme #MichaelaCisarikova #DanceTraining #ContemporaryDance by @jv2dance

13 years of (inbetween)Originally created for the National Youth Dance Company @nydcompany and premiered at @sadlers_wells in 2013, (inbetween) continues to evolve across generations of extraordinary young artists. Revived in 2018, and reimagined in 2024–2025 on the exceptional JV2 cohort, the work remains a powerful reflection on the tension between individuality and collective force.Caught in constant flux, (inbetween) explores the delicate and ever-shifting relationship between humans and the natural environment - a theme that feels more urgent now than ever.Grateful to every dancer who has brought this work to life over the past 13 years. This vibrant triple bill of new works by Jasmin Vardimon Company associates Yunkyung Song & Vivian Triantafyllopoulou culminated with choreography by multi-award-winning Jasmin Vardimon MBE.The established JV2 Professional Development Diploma was developed by Jasmin Vardimon Company with the mission to encourage, cultivate and nurture young talent.
