Ok fine this one can go on the grid too Thanks for being the Eurydice to my Orpheus last night @kaitlin.johnson3904 🌹 by @jvrgrom
sometimes they let me play guitar @mattmegrue @theunusualsuspects404 📸 @unisphererecordings by @jvrgrom
we’re not NOT @mattmegrue and the oily boys That’s a wrap on @theunusualsuspects404 anniversary edition and it was a fuckin blast. Getting to hop in the van for a few days and connect creatively with such rad people is always a gift and I never take a minute of it for granted. Matt, Matt, Brian, and Kyle, if you ever need someone to obsessively optimize packing a van, chase baby goats off your stage, or eliminate all numbers except for 2, you know who to call 🤘 by @jvrgrom
Stoked to be heading out on the road for a few days with @theunusualsuspects404 🤘 flexing those guitar tech muscles and playing a little guitar here and there. If you’re in SC, GA, or FL come hang out! by @jvrgrom

Huge thanks and congratulations to @thetravelinkine who not only put on an absolutely killer show last Friday celebrating the 10yr anniversary of their first album, but also let me crash their stage for a couple of songs. You guys are lightning in a bottle and I could not have been happier to get to hear some of my fav songs onstage again! I can’t imagine who I’d be today if yall hadn’t taken me under your wings as a teenager Shoutout to my fav concert photog and all around good friend @thatezguy for snapping this killer shot (and a couple of others that I’ll probably be spamming yall with soon haha) by @jvrgrom
It’s a #MacDougalBlues kind of night by @jvrgrom
Time to relearn how to sing this one I guess… I wrote this song almost 4 years ago and it was a live staple for most of that time, but tracking vocals for the record is sure making me shake off the rust! I am so SO excited for yall to hear this album. It’s taken a while for everything to come together, but I truly believe it will be a better record for it and that I’m a better, more fully developed, more confident person and musician than I was when I first started writing it. The In Between (verse 1): I dreamt you let me come home Woke up in my bed, but all your things had gone And I just can’t decide if a lifetime is too long or short a time I guess I find that the distinction lies In how much space there is to feel The empty space you used to fill by @jvrgrom
do people still do #throwbackthursday ?? 📸 @thatezguy by @jvrgrom
thankful to be me, and for all the people who love me exactly as I am by @jvrgrom
Alright yall, today’s cover (Who We Are by @hozier ) is particularly close to my heart. I don’t usually do full length covers, but this one demanded it. I know three and a half minutes is a long time to ask people to pay attention to anything, but if you can, please let this one play all the way through. I don’t think I can fully explain how much this project has meant to me. I first heard this song around the time I was heading into hibernation and promptly burst into tears because it so perfectly captured so much of what I was feeling and processing at the time. Writing this arrangement was such a powerful reminder that creating can be fun and easy and it IS actually possible to make something I love the sound of. Singing it was a herculean task because this song is HARD and I am NOT a singer, but I’m proud of myself for putting in the time to build up those skills and coming out with something that’s at least honest and genuine if not technically perfect. Sorry for the long ramble but ANYWAY I hope you like it! by @jvrgrom
Possibly the next cover I tackle?? It Won’t Always Be Like This by Inhaler by @jvrgrom
