It was our 21st anniversary today, and we experienced a few serendipitous moments.

1. We’d always wanted to stop by @cafeattheplaza, so we decided to enjoy cocktails and appetizers with our twins, who joined us for the day. As we sat down, we noticed a vintage poster next to our table with the words “Frou Frou.” Well, Frou Frou (@imogenheap ) was the album we played as we drove away from our wedding reception. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

2. We also learned from my mom that my grandparents lived at the @plazahotelmke during the first few years of their marriage. We had no idea.

3. We visited the David Barnett Gallery for the first time, and it definitely won’t be our last. @michelle_my_bell23 and I both fell in love with an original lithographic exhibition poster for Paul Rebeyrolle’s 1969 Guérilleros exhibition. We assumed it would be far beyond our budget, but the gallery owner, David, told us he had never updated the price after purchasing it more than 50 years ago. As an anniversary gift, he sold it to us for what he would have charged back then. How awesome is that?

Delightful moments like these make life so much more interesting, and I’m grateful I get to experience them with you, @michelle_my_bell23
