Last two years Reel: ☝🏼👀👇🏼📖 VousConf22- encountering the Holy Spirit like I never have before, walking away from the gay lifestyle, and coming back to my first love in Jesus Christ, filled with peace, joy, confidence in knowing I am His child and will be with Him for eternity. No matter how far I went, he was always pulling me back to Him, he never left me, has never forsaken me, nor abandoned me, even when I lived one foot in and one foot out in the world. He saved me and gave me a community, friendships, love and support through navigating life’s difficulties- saving me and another person in a car accident, to fasting for the first time, gaining strength to trust him in ALL things, to difficult conversations, naturally and supernaturally, to tough times- mentally and emotionally as I stepped into a whole new relationship with my Abba Father. To then serving for the first time and sealing the commitment I made to him one year later at VousCon23 getting baptized. To all that he has blessed me with in the last year from seeing friends getting married, traveling to places I’ve only seen pictures of, to a support system through VousCrews, to a growing family at home, and a family that’s healing, to stepping into speaking what he placed on my heart to encourage other servant leaders, to a career where he is using me to be His light and taking me to spaces I’ve always dreamed about going to. To the internal growth and healing with him, uprooting the rotten roots to be able to produce His fruit. To serving this house with the best VC team and the bond we have made to the growth I see in each person I encounter in our team and in my friend group. He is a faithful on time God and I cannot wait to see what he will do at VousCon24!! Thank you Vous Church for the resources, discipleship, healthy community, and being a home for me. I am expectant, excited and ready to encounter His love like never before this VousCon, serving and worshipping His name with the community I love and have been blessed with. God, ready to see more lives running to you through this weekend! All we want is you! 🙌🏼🙏🏼🥰🕊️ #VousCon24 #FutureGlory #Reflection #Encounter #Equip #Empower by @jwalter10

VOUSCON ‘26 recap… Laughter, joy, tears, release, laying down of burdens, pain, frustration and break through through jumping around in worship, prayer, prayer and more prayer… Thankful how much the Lord moved within this space, the hearts of those who attended and served, within our teams, Pastors, staff, servant leaders, and the capital C church. Thank you Pastor Rich and DC for your leadership, vision and most importantly your obedience to what God wants to do through you and in you to impact the kingdom of God! Thankful I get to call Vous church home, and even more thankful to serve this house! Jesus died on the cross for us, and also gave us a cross to carry each day! We were Born to Live and to live a life for the one who gave us life! What an abundant life He gives!! Ready to run it back in 2027!!! #VousChurch #Vouscon #VC #ProtectThisHouse #BornToLive🙏🏼🤟🏼🥲 by @jwalter10
Jesus knocked on the door of my faulty, broken, shattered home I was isolated in. He allowed me to ever so slightly peel the door open little by little as He showed me who He was and how much he still loved me despite what I had done, what had been done to me, and how much I rejected his way. He still chose to show me His truth. Then as I flung open the door, the wind of the Holy Spirit came rushing in the home. I saw my father standing there with open arms ready to embrace me, so I invited him back in. Jesus waited many years outside that door. He knocked many times as I would peak out the window, and look through the window of the door as He looked back at me. I even a few times propped the door open slightly, to then shut it in His face as I heard the voices of the world in the faulty home I stood in, telling me ‘that I was not enough for Him, I am too much of a disappointment, this is where I belonged.’ I kicked Jesus out of the home he originally built in me. He stood out there in the cold, rain, snow, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, heat, and sun, waiting on me. But now, He is back. He is rebuilding this home, and we are doing it together. When I sit in His presence, I hear His whispers. He changes me, even how I entered into His presence, I don’t leave the same. He reveals His love, He brings revelation for transformation. He has shown me the truth of who He is in me, the love He has for me, the places He has been with me, gone before me, working it all out according to His plan. He brought me Home. Forever marked by VOUSCON. I love serving in a space that God used to bring me home. Being able to cultivate an environment for others to experience the same, fuels me. This week come encounter the Savior, The Lord, and Friend we have in Jesus. You were Born to Live and to Live for Christ! 💕🥹🙏🏼 by @jwalter10
“Consider It Pure Joy” The world measures success in different ways Clocking in, clocking out, waiting for that raise. Looking up, looking around, looking down They go from being amongst the people, to in charge of the town Old ways of thinking left me with a huge work load, Saying ‘the way to success is a tough road’ This brought mixed emotions along the way, I walked around aimlessly, surrounded by a haze In life, we experience moments where we want to quit, We point the finger, and throw a fit We make excuses for our mishaps, That leave us in chains while we run laps I’m tired, exhausted and dreary Yet, my God said don’t grow weary I will continue to do good Even when I feel misunderstood My sorrow will turn to joy in the morning, For I know through this struggle, He is forming His promises are true So I will continue to pursue The door will open when He deems I’m ready. In the meantime, it’s His grace that keeps me steady. Reflecting back on this last year, the above poem describes just what it’s been for me- moved into a new home, been stretched, experienced heartache, going through transformation, lots of laughter and joy, while circumstances arose, tears fell, my heart and soul going through breaking, pruning, and growing, all the while being filled with love and so many blessings. Surrounded by His grace, love and community, i wouldn’t have it any other way. This year shaped me, molded me, and I know it’s just the beginning for what He has to come! I’ll worship Jesus through it all because all I know to give The King is my hallelujah!!! 🙏🏼😭💕 by @jwalter10
