The Watley family regrets to announce the passing of our dear matriarch Mrs. Marian P. Watley.

Truly a product of the silent generation, her glowing smile, inner strength, and radiant personality caused all that she encountered to love and respect her. While small in stature, she was not diminutive in leadership. She was a force, a quiet storm, and not one to be trifled.

She was not just a Christian she was a disciple maker. More than a confidant she was a counselor. More than a friend she was family to countless people who called her ‘Ma’ or ‘Gran’ despite the lack of genetic claim.

While we grieve her transition we do not do so as those who have no hope. We are comforted in knowing that she rests in the Masters’ care.

We are deeply grateful for the prayerful support of you our tribe. We will share the details of her celebration of life shortly.

It’s been a heck of a year, but through the fire and the rain our love, faith and steadfastness remains.
