I made a post dedicated to my bubs, but completely missed making one for my poppet, so here’s a poem I wrote about the sweetest girl I know, who’s gentle and insatiable like a labrador and, if you know me, I always say you can swing her about like a rotisserie chicken over a flame lol (but seriously). She’s been a little supernova in my life as I’ve dealt with some really low periods this year, but also a great creative spark because she makes me so happy and, weirdly, so much more confident. Cats 4ever, sorry Blue. I think there’s just something about being loved so loudly - and she is loooud - that makes you a little less embarrassed to take up space yourself, and it helps that it’s all rather uncomplicated. She just gets me. So, To The Great Love of My Life, this is only a fraction of how much I love you. Wish you could read this, but I’ll settle for you sitting on my laptop while I write about you - meow. /ᐠ - ˕ -マ Ⳋ ————————— Also I write on Substack now (poetry is an outlier), where you can read personal stories and hear my thoughts on art and culture. Yes, I am one of those girls now but #tobecringeistobefree! ➡️ privatenegotiations.substack.com by @jxnnyo
