Happy Janmashtami🦚 • Lord Krishna was the 8th avatar of Lord Vishnu. He was born in Mathura to Vasudeva and Devaki. He was raised by Nanda and Yashoda in Gokul and Vrindavan. He later defeated Kansa and established Dwarka. Krishna became a central figure in the Mahabharata and a close ally of the Pandavas. He was born into a Jat family and belonged to the Yadav caste and lineage. During the Kurukshetra War, Krishna served as Arjuna’s charioteer and guide. He gave Arjuna the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, explaining dharma, duty, righteousness, and devotion. Throughout the 18-day war, Krishna guided the Pandavas through crucial moments and helped them achieve victory over the Kauravas. After the war, Krishna returned to Dwarka and continued to lead the Yadavas. Later, the Yadava clan was destroyed in an internal conflict, and Krishna eventually left his earthly life after being accidentally struck by the hunter Jara. #happyjanmashtami #krishna #fyp #hinduism #braj by @jxtcult

Gokula Jat, also known as Gokula Singh, was one of the most prominent Jat leaders of the 17th century. He belonged to the Mathura region and became a powerful voice of resistance against Mughal rule during Emperor Aurangzeb’s reign. In 1669–70, he organized thousands of Jats and challenged Mughal authority, fighting fiercely against the imperial forces. After the rebels were defeated at Tilpat, Gokula was captured and taken to Agra, where he was executed in 1670. Despite his defeat, Gokula became remembered for his courage, leadership, and refusal to surrender his honour, making him an important figure in the history of Jat resistance. #indianhistory #islam #mughal #braj #jaat by @jxtcult

The Bharatpur Kingdom was one of the richest and most powerful Jat kingdoms in India, reaching the height of its glory under Maharaja Suraj Mal. Rising from the Braj region, the Jat rulers built a prosperous and formidable state with vast territories, considerable wealth, a powerful army and strategically important strongholds. Bharatpur became a force that the major powers of northern India could not easily overcome, while the mighty Lohagarh Fort became a symbol of its strength and independence. Under Suraj Mal, Bharatpur’s influence extended across large parts of Braj, Rajasthan, Haryana and the regions around Agra and Delhi, placing the kingdom among the most formidable powers of 18th-century India. • • • • #IndianHistory #Braj #Bharatpur #Martial #Motherland by @jxtcult

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY🇮🇳 • Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh was one of the most courageous and inspiring revolutionaries of India’s freedom struggle, born on 28 September 1907 in Banga, Punjab. From a young age, he was deeply influenced by India’s struggle against British rule and developed a strong commitment to freedom, justice, and equality. He became associated with revolutionary organizations such as the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association and worked alongside fellow revolutionaries including Chandrashekhar Azad, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru. After the death of Lala Lajpat Rai following a police assault during a protest against the Simon Commission, Bhagat Singh and his comrades sought to avenge his death, leading to the killing of British police officer J. P. Saunders in 1928. In 1929, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw low-intensity bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi as a protest against colonial laws and deliberately allowed themselves to be arrested so that they could use the trial to spread their message. During his imprisonment, Bhagat Singh went on hunger strike and became known for his determination, intellectual courage, and commitment to the rights of prisoners. He was eventually sentenced to death in the Saunders case and was executed on 23 March 1931, along with Sukhdev and Rajguru, when he was only 23 years old. His sacrifice transformed him into an enduring symbol of courage and resistance, and generations of Indians have remembered him as Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, a young revolutionary whose life and sacrifice continue to inspire the ideals of freedom, bravery, equality, and devotion to the nation. • • • • #happyindependenceday #inquilabzindabad #freedomfighters #15august #bhagatsingh by @jxtcult
