The Summer Aubrey Turned 12 🎂🥳🌊☀️🐬
Started her Birthday with a trip to Cali spent the day at the beach, Aubrey loves the beach and always wants to go there. Then celebrated her Birthday here in Vegas at the aquarium with her family and dinner and presents with her bestie. Grandpa came into town to celebrate her Birthday and party with her. Took a drive to Arizona and spent the day on the lake. The party was so much fun! Played the funniest game, kinda like musical chairs. Had to walk around the pool but when the music stopped everyone had to jump in the pool and grab a beach ball, if you didn’t have a beach you were out. So fun! I’m so grateful for our village and friends that have turned into family along the way moving to Vegas. The love we have and the love shown makes me so happy. Thank you everyone who showed so much love to Aubrey on her day, we love you all 🫶🏼 by @jyna.fernandez

1️⃣2️⃣🥳🎂 this is 12. My baby when did you grow up? I had the best day with you. Thank you everyone who reached out, called, texted, messaged and for all the birthday gifts. Once again thank you to the best dad for making Aubrey’s day so special and getting her, her low rider bike she’s been wanting. Now she has her little hobby she can do with you side by side.

Anther fun year spending it in Boulder City for the parade and water war, then hanging out at home swimming and BBQing and watching the firework show at Heritage Park. Anther good one made.

Our trip to Cali/ The SouthBay was so much fun and more memories made. Went to celebrate Jay’s Birthday/5th grade graduation, and Adam’s and Uncle Dodo’s Birthday. Had lots of laughs with Uncle Mitchell and Aunt Gisselle as always a fun time with them. Got to spend one night with my cousin Christine. Loved seeing everyone❤️ spent the day at the Beach and my car was hit smh it was a hit and run but thankfully a lady saw the whole thing happen and when we got to my car, she gave us the video and license plate number to the car that hit my car. Now dealing with an investigator and insurance. The next day went and spent the day at Venice Beach. Aubrey was like 2 when I took her there and she didn’t remember it and Jay said he’s never been there, so Aubrey decided she wanted to get her septum pierced so when in Venice Beach why not do something crazy. Then when we’re leaving my tire was flat and had that big ass screw in my tire so had to get my tire repaired. Went and visited my Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Sister and Niece. 1st day of summer break and we did it right! Took a drive to Arizona to Willow beach and spent the day on the lake. Weather was beautiful but the water was freezing. Had a fun day!

Last day of 6th grade! On to 7th!! How did she get here?!? I still remember doing her hair and putting bows in it and teaching her how to say Hi and Bye and chasing her around, walking her into her first day of kindergarten and now almost in high school? Time is not fair but watching her grow up and to see how bright and smart she is has been just as fun. Finishing the year with ALL As and one B and being in advanced English and Reading getting As in both those classes is something to be proud of. She has changed her career and what she wants to do, forever she wanted to work with animals, the love she has for them and be a professional dog groomer now Aubrey has changed her direction and is pretty dead set on wanting to join the military, Army or Navy and talks very serious about it, or a 911 operator. She still has a lot of years of schooling and I’m sure will change her mind again. The maturity she has done over the years I’m so proud of her.

Side note: this outfit today was definitely not in my favor, I hate this style of clothes these kids wear these days and I don’t allow her dress like this but she convinced me that the whole 6th grade class was doing the Adam Sandler trend 🤷‍♀️ so here she is wearing Adam’s clothes to look like Adam Sandler. This generation of kids are definitely different from when I remember being in school. I have to tell myself it’s just a phase and a one day thing.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐anther one so good! Started the day with my cousin @christinedelapinaaa and her family coming over to visit , it was so good to see you guys and I’m mad we didn’t take any pictures lol, then went to church and they sang one of my favorite songs in worship. Then spent that day with Aubbys and Adam and my mom. Ended the night with the most delicious dinner Hubby cooked for us. He out did himself with that one. Thank you for making my day feel special and my biggest blessing of all is my baby girl. Because of you I got to celebrate today @aubby.aubs I love you and my family. 9 YEAR NA sobriety anniversary for Adam 🙏🏼 Im so so proud of you babe. To the road you were on to the road you’re on now, from the person you were to the MAN you are today is almost unbelievable. I’ve been rocking with you for almost 17 years now and I’ve been through it ALL with you. I let you go when I needed to and I let you have your space when you needed it but I never turned my back on you because I always believed in you and knew what you had in you and what you were capable of. I knew there was something we had between us and I thank God that he gave you the strength and courage to beat your addiction and find your way back to me because I LOVE, LOVE the life we have now and the life we are living. When I say I don’t want to do life with anyone else but you I mean just that. You are the most understanding loving best friend I could ever have.
