Going back to where MB all started. We first "signed" with Fake Four 12 years ago, I think. Ceschi has been one of the few that has not only made all of this possible, but never lectured me, controlled me, or even got upset with me, when I would simply be myself. When I would say things "out of pocket" he would remind me, he would talk to me, but he always understood me. Let me ride or die on my own and always had my back. I thought I was done making anything, then I thought I was done releasing records, then I thought I was done doing it independently. But as I said recently, go where you are wanted. Go where you are needed. I am lucky enough to have a home in Fake Four where what happens next means I can start fires across the world and bring the trophies back to the dirt. To the DIY. This is about keeping my word. Continuing to light the path for the weirdos, artists, musicians, that create in the dark that want the world to know our contributions mean as much or more than follower counts, virality, and the algo, all of which are dying slow miserable deaths. Corrosion of Conformity (US) levyjulkkarikeikalle Suomeen heinäkuussa!

Corrosion of Conformity on pitkän linjan arvostettu yhdysvaltalainen raskaan poljennon yhtye ja heidät tunnetaankin raskaasta ja groovaavasta soundistaan sekä ainutlaatuisesta tavastaan yhdistää hardcore punkia, sludgea ja stoneria.

Vuonna 1982 Pohjois-Carolinassa perustettu yhtye nousi undergroundin kulttinimeksi erityisesti albumeillaan Blind, Deliverance ja Wiseblood, joista muodostui raskaan vaihtoehtoisen musiikin kulmakiviä.

Uusin albumi Good God / Baad Man (2026, Nuclear Blast) on saanut osakseen ylistäviä arvioita niin kriitikoilta kuin yleisöltä. Albumia kehutaan erityisesti raskaan tunnelman ja riffien vuoksi sekä siitä kuinka siinä ainutlaatuisesti yhdistyy yhtyeen eri aikakaudet.

Bändin tunnistettava soundi rakentuu raskaiden riffien ja karhean grooveen ympärille. Vuosikymmenten aikana Corrosion of Conformity on vaikuttanut laajasti niin sludge-, stoner- kuin modernin metallinkin kehitykseen ja jakanut lavoja muun muassa metallin suurimpien nimien kanssa.

Luvassa on ilta täynnä painavia riffejä, klassikkokappaleita ja äärimmäisen kovaa livetunnelmaa yhtyeeltä, jonka vaikutus raskaan musiikin historiaan kuuluu edelleen vahvasti. Corrosion of Conformityn jäsenistöstä löytyy mm. Pepper Keenan, joka on myös ollut perustamassa Down -yhtyettä ja vaikuttaa myös tässä bändissä edelleen.
