Life update: I mentioned before that I was coming back to the US after graduating to work and train… but so much has flipped upside. So, I am now back in school doing my Masters and doing my fifth year of track and field !!! (Something I never thought I would be doing lol)

I can plan as much as I think possible but it’s always His plan above mine. I am learning to trust and let go and let God lead the way.

I don’t know what lies ahead in many different aspects of my life right now… But I just keep living one day at a time and I am grateful for all the beautiful blessings everyday brings.

Trusting in Him, just one foot in front of the other 🤍🕯️

The ending we fear the most becomes the beginning we need…

Life update: I graduated from college in the U.S @ullafayette in May. June has been fully of unexpected twists and turns, disappointments, uncertainty, and blessings.

Next, I will be staying in Lafayette for another year to work full-time on OPT and continue training for pole vault. The whole process is full of unknowns and scary, but I have realised that every single day, I am blessed with another opportunity at this thing called life.

So, even if it is scary, even if it is uncomfortable, why not take the chance? Why not take the unconventional path and go after life!

And through it all, knowing that I am not alone because God is walking along side me in everything I do has been my greatest strength.

♡also a heart felt THANK YOU to every single person I have met out here in Louisiana. Thank you for welcoming me, supporting me, and showing so much kindness to me. I am forever grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences you’ve blessed me with♡

Where is home?

You don’t realise how far you’ve come until you’ve walked the distance and looked back.

What a journey it’s been.

From starting year1 in Hiroshima, Japan. Then moving states to Tottori, Japan within that first year. Then to moving to Perth, Australia to start year2. Then moving back to Japan and spending the last three months of junior high school (year9) in Tottori, Japan. Then doing year10-12 and graduating from high school at Kura Kita, Japan. Then moving across the world to the United States and getting my associates degree from Cloud County Community College, Kansas. And then moving down south and getting my bachelors degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette, Louisiana.

So many places. So many people. So many versions of me.

Looking back, I can only say, THANK YOU God, for the journey.

I have learned that ‘home’ is where God places me. It’s the people He surrounds me with, the communities that welcome me, and the memories made along the way.

end of an era.

I’m so grateful for all the experiences, the ups and downs, while my time at Cloud because it’s shaped me into who I am today.

I’m also so grateful for everyone I met along my journey. There are way too many stories and names to share but each and every single person I’ve crossed paths with has impacted me in many different ways.

These last two years have been tough in ways I haven’t experienced before but they have also been some of the best years of my life so far.

At one point, I started to question myself because I didn’t end up beating my all time PR from high school. And if you only look at the numbers from when I was in high school to junior college it looks like I didn’t improve…

But I learned that in life, it’s not all about numbers. There are so many more things I have gained, achieved and accomplished that are not visible in the numbers.

I gained beautiful people who were by my side and will stay by my side. I gained amazing opportunities. I gained the feeling of belonging to a team/ family. I gained confidence in myself and my sport. I gained strength. I gained resilience and patience. I gained love. And so much more.

Job not finished. More to come.
