All glory be to God. Without Him, I am nothing.Counting down the days until I walk the stage this Saturday, May 2nd, graduating from THEE Jackson State University with honors. I did it with grace and class, while staying blessed and grounded by the Man above. To Thee, Oh Alpha Kappa Alpha,What a journey this has been so far. I knew that Alpha Kappa Alpha was the only way for me. Thank you for shaping me into a stronger, more confident, and purpose-driven woman. In choosing to begin my own legacy, I gained more than I ever imagined—growth, discipline, and a standard I now carry with me in everything I do.To Thee, Oh So Glamorous Gamma Rho Chapter,I am truly grateful for the way I was welcomed with open arms. Officially time to hang up the cheer shoes.From the little girl who first picked up pom poms at 6 years old… to becoming a 4-year vet at Jackson State—cheer has been one of the most constant things in my life. Through every high and every moment of chaos, it was always there teaching me discipline and resilience. To my cs,I wouldn’t have wanted to experience JSU cheer with any other group. From game days to being a part of the first competition team at NCA nationals we’ve experienced a lot together. I am forever grateful for all the laughs and memories we’ve shared.
