Out of 236 artworks by 70 artists, mine is one of the 43 chosen!

My ceramic alligator piece, Tainted Mississippiensis, was picked to be apart of the 61st Annual Voertman Art Competition Exhibit.

This will be my first time participating in a physical show!!

The reception and award ceremony is on Feb 3rd from 5-7 in the Cora Stafford Gallery lobby at CVAD. by @k.b.m.art

The Revelation Series.

As this project grew my mission and aesthetic evolved somewhat and I felt the original first piece no longer fit in with what the rest of the pieces turned out to be. So revisited my original color palette, did some tweaking and now I think the overall aesthetic is cohesive, even if the style/rendering is older than the rest( the original Oracle drawing was from 2018)

I wanted to evoke a sort of mystery and power in the images, that even with my own intention behind it, the composition and title alone speaks to those ideas even if the viewer takes away a different meaning.

Revelation: The Oracle, The Seer, The Clairvoyant, The Sibyl and The Prophet.
