Thank you @brokeandabroadlife for creating the space for us to talk about being Black women who love a sport that wasn’t built for us! Community is what you make it and I’m so grateful for the Black women that I’ve come to know to through my love for @f1. We out here y’all — get into it! by @k.conti

After 12 phenomenal years, I’ve decided to close the book on this chapter of my career. Today marks my last day at Google. I don’t think my younger self would have believed me if I told her how much her life would change just by saying yes all those years ago. But I’m sure as hell glad I did. In many ways I grew up at Google and I’m beyond grateful to every single colleague, mentor and manager that has poured into me and showed me that it’s okay to want more.

I walk away with immense pride knowing that my last role at Google was serving as Head of Black Media Communications. It was a privilege and responsibility I did not take lightly. Thank you to every publisher, editor, writer, freelancer, creator and exec that allowed me to be a small part of your journey. Your words matter, your stories matter, you matter!

Here’s to a job well done. by @k.conti

still dreaming about the desert. moab is a special place and I can’t wait to go back. had the incredible opportunity to go on a glamping reading retreat with @hyatt @undercanvasofficial @ulumresorts and @reesesbookclub where I met so many fellow book girlies and got to really unplug for a few days. the red rocks, stargazing, yapping about our favorite authors and endless s’mores were truly magical.

special thanks to @alanahengstebeck for hosting me on the ground and @cat_vaccaro for the invite. and a massive thanks to @corimurray for giving me the opportunity to represent @ebonymagazine on this trip and write about my experience. link in bio.

The @tldrblog crew wrapped up our reading of Kin x by my good Spelman sis @tayari this past weekend and the girlies had a lot to say. Great discussion, plenty of laughs and torn feelings about Bobo (IYKYK). Thank you @bembrooklyn for hosting us!
