written by me🖤

I want to share more of myself in different identities.
I wrote poetry; this isn’t often something I share, but
I’ve fallen in love with poetic expression.

How beautiful it is to place oneself in another’s view, to take a small fragment in time and place it under an emotional, intellectual microscope. Poetry is like beauty.. in the eye of the beholder. Up for interpretation, a mirror for your own projections.

how interesting that our own internal narratives dictate so much of the world we experience: from the way that we interpret our experiences, determine our habits & narrate the meaning of things.

but how freeing to know that we have the power to control the narratives? the meaning of what is experienced is subjective.

to be in the middle of growth is beautiful, to choose to go against what is “normal” or “habitual”.
