34, and my heart is overflowing. 🤍

To my parents: thank you for loving me and my children so unconditionally. The ways you show up may feel like nothing to you, but they mean everything to me. I hope you know how deeply we feel your love.

To my friends, family, and church community: thank you for every meeting, phone call, text, outing, casual hangout, prayer, and hug. Every moment you made room for me reminded me that I was loved and supported. You may never know how much those moments carried me through.

Most importantly, thank You, Jesus. For blessing me with these people, keeping me safe, and holding me when I didn’t have the strength to stand on my own. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for keeping my mind steady when life felt overwhelming. For pushing me to do the hard things and say the hard things, while teaching me to still reflect Your love and seek my peace in You.

Funny enough, since ’92, even-numbered years seem to bring change and transition. Always expected, somehow still surprising—and this year was no different. There was hard, there was hurt, but there was also so much good. And today, I’m celebrating the love that met me through it all.

Cheers to 34, and more of all the good I experienced despite the hard. More love, more laughter, more peace, and more moments with the people who make my life so full. 🥂🤍 by @k.ish.a
