What a fun wildflower bag to make for such a beautiful soul!! An old friend reached out and asked if I could embroider her bag and gave me creative liberty to make the wildflowers as I saw fit 🪻 The challenging part about this bag was creating it without compromising the integrity of the bag- peep that 3rd pic! I was able to hide all the knots and have all the stitches hold perfectly without getting into the bag itself. I won't lie though, there was one flower stem that got me and there's a *tiny* little strand of green on the inside of that bag 😉

Stella Maris, Our Lady of the Sea was sent out to my favorite sailor making her *first* solo trip!! She calms the seas and guides sailors, always showing them the North Star which is gold in this piece. There is a lot of depth to the meaning of this piece, all of which leads to peace, protection, and prayer 💙 by @k.mbroidery

Some lovely embellished Wisteria on a post card here today 💕 there are countless French knots in this piece but I really, really enjoy them by @k.mbroidery

Being a mother is awesome. Not only do I get to create things for my little people, but I am changed because of them. So much to say about being a mother, but I'll leave you with this little nugget of beauty: parenthood is full of weird juxtapositions and it allows you to dig deeper than potentially anything you've experienced before 💙 by @k.mbroidery

Swipe for the day to night look 😜 Designed entirely by one of my little people, I've had these lights and it was such a joy to use them. It's going in the room and is basically a big disco ball night light by @k.mbroidery

I'm still loving every detail of this hand stitched piece. The champagne spray to the velvet jacket to the waterfalls in the background to all the texture. It seriously came together and I'm really proud of it by @k.mbroidery

Champagne for the couple!! Words escape me for how it felt to create this piece. It was such a joy throughout the entirety of it. So many textures, so many elements, and it was commissioned for these wonderful people by their friend. I mean come on 😭🥰 what an amazing friend!! by @k.mbroidery

I picked up this little black purse over the summer for like $7 because I wanted something that could be cute but wouldn't be ruined if it got wet. And then I embellished it with some gold paint, reds, blues, and gold beads!

That 2nd pic was from a recent outting to @pins.cle in Ohio city! Honestly it's such a perfect place for any kind of outting. If you're around definitely pop over there by @k.mbroidery

One of the weddings this year was for another one of my best of friends; this hanky was the collaborative effort between the groom, the matron of honor, and myself. There's so much depth in this one and also such a depth of love 💙💙

In '22 we had 8 weddings and for each wedding I tried to make an ornament (some of which I still need to do). For this particular wedding I was in I knew I wanted to do something special. I couldn't let the extra fabric from my bridesmaids dress go to waste, so I saved this beautiful black satin and made the ornament with some gold stars. These two details make it one of a kind for sure 💙 by @k.mbroidery

I could share this piece over and over! Some of the little details really make a piece. If you look closely you can see the groom's orange tie, the light leaks in the bride's veil, and in the bottom right corner the pot filled with their wedding florals by @k.mbroidery
